Well my review is mixed. I love the look and I couldn’t find tin backsplash from anywhere else. Everything was faux tin so basically vinyl. These are not aluminum. Some sort of special galvanized so I hope they do not rust. Our problem came when we put a very mild masking tape on the tin to mark our cutting area. As you can see from the picture the paint came off! We were surprised that this would happen considering the cost. Very disappointed. Now I worry how much paint will come off when I clean it. Installing tin tiles on a wall is similar to a backsplash: attach them to drywall using nails along with construction adhesive such as Liquid Nails or Loctite Power Grab. The nails hold the panels securely while the adhesive sets, and any of our tin ceiling or backsplash tiles can be used for versatile wall applications.

We did a ceiling with the foam ceiling tiles but needed something to go around our stove pipe. I wouldn’t want to do a whole ceiling with these but they worked for what we needed. Planning on painting with white high heat paint so they blend with the rest. Haven’t grouted the foam ones yet so don’t judge lol!
