sweet dreams
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a self-proclaimed sleep enthusiast (some might call it an obsession!), I'm always on the hunt for bedding that elevates my nightly slumber. So, when the Madison Park 800 Thread Count Cotton Blend Sateen Sheet Set landed on my doorstep, I dove in with anticipation. Here's the scoop, both pros and (minor) cons, after a month of sweet dreams: Pros: Luxury on a budget: Let's be honest, 800 thread count screams luxury, but the price tag on this set won't leave you needing a second mortgage. It's seriously affordable, making that "hotel bed at home" feel accessible. Buttery soft: The 56% cotton, 44% polyester blend isn't your grandma's scratchy sheets. It's incredibly soft and smooth, like sinking into a cloud (a cloud that breathes, thanks to the cotton!). Wrinkle-resistant warrior: I toss and turn like nobody's business, but these sheets somehow manage to stay relatively wrinkle-free. No more ironing before guests (hallelujah!). Cool and breathable: Hot sleeper alert! This blend is surprisingly breathable, even in the Dominican heat. No more waking up in a sweaty mess. Easy care: Toss them in the washing machine and dryer, no problem. Bonus points for being colorfast! Minor Cons: Not the thickest: While soft, they're not the most substantial sheets on the market. If you crave ultimate plushness, you might want to consider layering. Slight polyester feel: Some might find the polyester blend gives them a slightly less "natural" feel than pure cotton. Personally, I didn't mind, but it's worth noting. Overall Verdict: For the price, comfort, and ease of care, the Madison Park 800 Thread Count Sheet Set is a winner in my book. They're soft, breathable, and elevate my sleep experience without breaking the bank. While not the thickest sheets out there, they're perfect for those who want a touch of luxury and convenience. If you're looking for a budget-friendly upgrade to your sleep haven, I highly recommend giving them a try!

These sheets are the perfect color to match my recently purchased Wildermuth Reversible Quilt Set from Wayfair. They are extremely comfortable to sleep on. So soft and light! Another good thing: when I received the sheets, they had substituted Egyptian Cotton 600 TC sheets for the Bescott version. I had discussed Egyptian cotton with a Wayfair salesperson while I was ordering to see if they had the exact same, color, size, etc in Egyptian. To my delighted surprise, they arrived in Egyptian Cotton. I washed them before I put them on the bed, and didn't get to the dryer to retrieve them immediately when they were dry. They were severely wrinkled. However, that really doesn't matter since the wrinkles are a moot point. The extreme softness of the Egyptian Cotton nullifies any ability to feel the wrinkles. Next time I wash them, I'm be sure to get them out of the dryer promptly. One other reason for the 4 stars, and not 5, is that I have a 15 inch deep mattress. I looked for months to find sheets that said the would fit 15 - 18+ inch deep mattress without pulling up. I also wanted sheets with elastic all the way around the fitted sheet. The elastic is there, but the sheets barely cover the 14 inch mattress. That means they are subject to pulling up and can slide off one side of the mattress. I'm glad I purchased them because they are so comfortable and pretty. Just disappointed that they weren't a little more generous with the fabric to completely cover the mattress.
