I read all the other reviews before I bought this set, just to see if it looked like what I was seeing in the photos to others. It does.... and, it is even more beautiful. True, the fabric is somewhat thin, but it is meant to be a spring/summer bed set, I believe; and if it were heavy, no one would want to sleep under it... it would be HOT. This set is designed to be for show primarily, and folded down at the foot of the bed.... it was never meant to be used like one would use a standard coverlet, or duvet, or quilted cover, or even a blanket. As such, it is perfect and exactly what I wanted. The sheen on the fabric is beautiful and almost looks like a shantung or dupioni silk. The color I chose, blue, is a true dusty aqua, a light powdery blue with a little bit of nile green and dove grey shading to really make the color pop without being bright. The band of fabric around the pin-tucking is perfect to frame this style... I did not like other sets that had a band at the head and foot of the comforter; it looks too "choppy" to me. This band merely cradles the pin tucks. And the overall style is feminine, without being frilly, or childish. Construction is very good, especially for the price. The pin-tucking is strong and adds a bit of "pouf" to the look; if this spread were made of silk, it would cost well over $1000, I suspect. And... there were (7) pieces to the set! Again, for the price, a gorgeous bedding set, and it came in a plastic storage bag that is breathable so it can be used to store linens. Also, did I mention it took all of (3) days to get to me? Truly, DESIGNER LIVING keeps surprising me with their pricing and quality for that price....I think I'm in love with them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bed linen set would make a great gift: who would refuse a high quality heavy linen in very presentable packaging? The linen was very neatly and evenly folded and the fabric was a pleasure to touch. The quality of the fabric is good, there is no greenhouse effect, due to the fact that the fabric "breathes", it is warm under the blanket, but you do not sweat, as is often the case with bed linen made of synthetic fabrics. It looks very rich and solid The seams are even, but the embroidery on the pillow slightly tightens the fabric and there are protruding threads in some places. The print is clear, bright, not blurry This bed linen set fits perfectly into the interior of our bedroom, everything is harmonious here - color, prints, cute little pillows with embroidery - all this in combination gives coziness and harmony. After washing, the linen does not change color and remains bright, rich and shiny. I really like that the pillowcase has a "pocket" so it doesn't "slide" off the pillow. The blanket is very soft and light. It weighs almost nothing, but at the same time it is quite warm. The bed linen is easy to care for. I really liked this set and I give it five stars, despite a few protruding threads, because they can be easily and discreetly trimmed.

Very happy with this purchase. It was delayed for a number of weeks from the time I ordered it which was not ideal (the site said it would be delivered within about two weeks), but the comforter is great and the colour is pretty much what it looked like online. It's not too bulky, but still very warm and looks great with our bedroom set. There is some random stitching on the comforter (which you can't see in the photos online), but it's nothing to worry about. I do wish it was slightly larger so it hung down further around the edges and on the bottom, but it still fits our king bed quite well. Haven't yet washed it so hopefully, it stays the same once it's washed and dried. Definitely would suggest this set!

I previously had a duvet cover and comforter, and was tired of it constantly moving around inside the cover. My boyfriend and I are moving in together soon so I wanted bedding that was a comforter, but also had a feel we would both enjoy with different design interests. I got this comforter set in indigo and it's wonderful! He likes the color and simplicity of it (doesn't feel too girly to him) and I love the cozy look and detailing of it. I paired it with some white sheets, and used white pillowcases instead and it looks great. The comforter felt light when I pulled it out of the bag, but after sleeping with it for a couple days in the summer, it actually does keep me warm. I thought I'd miss having a big, fluffy, heavy comforter, but I'm starting to love the lighter cover that still keeps me warm! I ran it through the machine washer and dryer (took a couple rounds to dry every part of it), and it came out lovely. I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in this one.

I really like this comforter! I ordered the king size to put in a Queen duvet for extra fluff. The stitching is nice and sturdy. I really like the gold piping along the edge as well. It comes compressed in the packaging. I laid it across my bed and hand fluffed it everyday before work and after waking the the morning. I do believe it “puffed” fairly well. I have since placed it into the duvet but I will say that while sleeping with it prior to, sans the cover, the material is very soft and comfortable. It did have a “down smell” that was fairly noticeable for the first few weeks as well, also why I’d recommend waiting a bit before utilizing a duvet cover if you so choose. I think it’s subsided quite a bit since airing out. It’s does make the “crinkly” hotel comforter sound, but honestly… I like that. Now, the ONLY reason I’m giving this item 4 stars is because although this comforter is listed as all season… It is HOT. I don’t sleep with the heat on at night and live in the Midwest. It’s spring here and we are still teetering between 30-50 degrees on the regular. I wake up fairly toasty with this cover. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I do think that you should be prepared to utilize something much lighter during the warmer months. Still, very satisfied with my purchase.

After searching forever for new bedding for our Master bedroom, I kept coming back to the Tess set. It is classic and beautiful. There is a slight sheen to the fabric, which lends itself to being a little "fancier" --- so keep that in mind. It is more suited to an adult bedroom or guest room, rather than a kid's room. The pillows are nice, as well-- comes with 2 Euro, 2 King, and three throw pillows. We chose to add a couple more pillows in blues, just to pull our whole look together. (The lamps are Tosha 29" and the artwork is Morning Chorus --- both from Wayfair.) The set seems to be very well-made, and a real winner for the price point! My ONLY reservation on giving it 5 stars is that it seems a little short width-wise. When making the bed, we have to really take time to make sure that both sides of the mattress are covered --- there is not an inch of fabric to spare. It's just a minor annoyance if you're in a hurry to make it to work:) Thankfully, my husband's side of the bed is not in the line of sight when you enter the bedroom, so it all works out!

I love this comforter. My Husband and I decided to upgrade to a King Size bed this Christmas because we have toddlers that like to come hop in in the morning and we just wanted more room in general. I was a little nervous because a few of the reviews said the king didn't fit the sides well still. We don't have a box spring with our bed because our frame didn't require one so I don't know if that's why it fits so wonderfully, but I love the way it looks. We like our room to be a little on the colder side in all seasons and this comforter was exactly what I was looking for to feel nice and cozy. We still have lots of comforter to cover us and the toddlers in the morning as well :)

Oh my gosh, this comforter is just beautiful!! I bought the ivory colored one. It's farbetter than I thought it would be.. I have a queen size antique bed and it has a box spring and then a 13" memory foam mattress. This comforter fits perfectly for the bed I'm using it on. It comes down the side of the bed perfectly. I didn't want it to go to the floor. It's light & fluffy. I have actually had to shake it often to get the filling spread around inside. I've had it for a week & it's looking better and better each day. I've got to get used to the fact that it's supposed to be kind of messy & wrinkled. The multicolored, different colored pillows I'm buying for it will make it gorgeous!

What an amazing find and stunning price for such a high-quality, all-season down comforter! The stitching is tight, the comforter is baffled to hold the down in its designated areas, and the cover is smooth and soft! Remove the comforter from its packaging and shake by corners to allow down to fluff and air to be inserted between pieces of down; this creates loft and warmth! In a couple of days I usually shake out the comforter again to encourage the separation of the down even further once it’s had a change to recover from being flattened in manufacturers packaging. I always wash down comforters in large commercial machines so they have room to tumble in the water, and so that soap is well removed. Tumble dry adding either clean sneakers, several tennis balls or several large-sized heavy wool dryer balls; the down being pounded by the added items encourages it to dry (down clumps when wet and will form into balls of wet down in baffle corners unless encouraged to separate by this pounding action, which allows down to fluff and dry puffy and perfect! Well worth the price, these comforters can last a lifetime!

I read lots of reviews before buying this blanket. I had bought so many and returned them because I wanted something very specific. I wanted high end quality, soft and warm and don't overheat at night. I love the warmth and softness of the blanket. I get cold and my husband's get hot at night so we needed to find something in between. After a long search I'm glad I made the decision to buy this comforter. Didn't disappoint and exactly what I needed. It's perfect weight. Very soft. Feels and looks luxurious. Now I can't get the kids or my cats off the bed. What I learned about blankets of you want something light but fluffy for aesthetics then pick lower price point and material with cotton or synthetic. You want something "puffy and very warm" you going to want a duck down duvet, you want something less heavy then goose down alternative is best, it will be warmer then this blanket but less warm then the duck down. But if you want the feel of a heavy duck duvet that is soft but yet not overly warm then this is the blanket for you. I was chasing after duvets but ended up liking the comforter better. (Difference is: duvet is an insert but comforted can be used as a blanket or insert). Over all this is a great blanket. Material is soft and very pretty. I can't finally stop looking at blankets. Five starts from me!

I found the perfect blush set at TJ maxx and someone stole it off my clothesline. They must have needed it badly to do that. They no longer carry it so I searched online. This is my first purchase with Wayfair. I was leary ordering a set online because I like to touch and see the fabric so I took a chance and trusted the reviews. I got 2 twin sets in Blush. Blush is a very difficult color to find the perfect shade. Trust me when I say this is the perfect shade. The photos do not do it justice. The color is a true blush pink color in a lighter hue. This could pass for a ballerina pink and the perfect shabby chic style pink for a little girl if thats the look you want. My daughter is a teen. It goes so beautiful with her medium gray walls. Absolutely gorgeous! On fleek as my kid would say..lol... This is extremely soft to the touch it feels like 1500 count (not exaggerating). However, a high thread count tears easy and this seems like it can tear so I would treat this with care. Thickness is on the thinner side but not cheapy thin at all if you know what I mean. This would be a perfect summer comforter. I put solid quilts under my comforters anyway, so that, or an extra blanket underneath would offer more warmth in colder months. It is very billowy for a thinner side comforter to give that luxurious look. I noted other reviewers saying there is no box stitching. No there is not but the gathered details are stitched through to the other side so I think it will wash well with care. I personally would do a gentle cycle, hang dry and fluff in dryer. I will update review after washing and upload photos after I assemble the bunk bed I also ordered from Wayfair. My 15 year old absolutely loves it and cant wait for her trundle bunk bed to be assembled which is perfect for sleepovers while offering space in her small room. I think I am going to order a queen size in white for myself!!! Great price for this set. FYI, this does not come with the throw pillows in the photo.

I FEEL I MUST EDIT MY REVIEW. WHEN I PURCHASED AND RECEIVED THIS SET IN NOVEMBER, I OPENED THE PACKAGE AND ALL LOOKED IN GOOD CONDIITONH. SINCE I DID NOT NEED IT UNTIL OUR SUMMER RENTER SEASON, I PUT IT BACK. THE OTHER DAY, I WAS READY TO PLACE IT ON THE BED. THE PILLOWS, SKJIRT AND , ETC.L WERE FINE. HOWEVER, WHEN I PLACED THE COMFORTER ON THE BED, I HADE TO ADJUST IT ON ONE SIDE IN ORDER NOT TO SHOW THE MATTRESS AS YOU ENTER THE BEDROOM. THIS CONFORTER IS MUCH TOO SMALL FOR ANY KING BED. THE SIZE WAS PERFECT FOR A QUEEN BED WHICH I DID NOT NEED. JUST WANTED TO INFORM YOU THAT YOUR SIZING IS NOT ACCURATE AND I WOULD BE TOTALLY SURPRISED IF THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME YOU HAVE HEARD THIS. I WILL NOT AND I MEAN IT.....WILL NOT ORDER FROM YOUR COMPANY AGAIN,. I CANNOT TRUST YOU. I HAVE ADVISED MY FRIENDS OF THIS IN ORDER THAT THEY BEWARE OF THE SIZING PROBLEM. SORRY FOR THIS. THE SET IS BEAUTIFUL BUT .....TO ME...USELESS.

Velvety on the front, soft Sherpa (not wool, I hate how scratchy wool is!) on the back, and a clearance price. All good. It’s not so much like a comforter as it is like a two layer quilt, and I’m guessing there is some batting in between but I’m not sure. It’s like a light weight soft blanket sewn on to a very soft medium weight blanket. It is sewn all the way through, which was a concern after experiencing a similar product a long time ago that was only sewn together on the ends; the peripheral and not in the middle at all. It’s May 1 here in the North, and still running daytime temps in the 50’s, so this will be nice. Anything above 60’s at night, probably not so nice. I expect it’ll be all I need come winter as well. Had I seen this at a local store and at this price, I would have snapped it right up. Oh, and so glad I purchased the correct size for my bed. Folks were saying get a size larger. But I have a bed in a box mattress (love!) that is 10” tall along with a 2” latex foam topper, and with the bed against the wall on one side. I would have had a constant struggle keeping this on the bed if it were any larger! I dislike blankets that hang down and even touch the floor at times while sleeping. I have vinyl plank flooring and dogs, so you never know where that floor has been (I like my blankets especially clean). So, just something else to consider…whether you want the floor to be stealing your blanket at night!

I’m the type of person that shops around and reads reviews on multiple items before making a purchase. After looking at several stores in person and online, I was unable to find a king sized comforter that beat the price of Wayfair comforters. I was a little hesitant on purchasing a comforter online because I prefer being able to feel the product first but this comforter did not disappoint. I followed the advice of other reviewers and bought a king sized comforter for my queen sized bed (pictured) and it looks PERFECT! My boyfriend and I are thrilled. I washed the comforter in cold water on the delicate cycle in my washer with a tiny amount of bleach and it came out fluffy and bright white. Our bed frame is also from Wayfair and we have been pleased with the shipping, packaging, and quality of their products so far. I highly recommend this item to anyone looking for a lightweight and cozy alternative down comforter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 24 piece set has 23 pieces I can use. The very last piece, the bed skirt, doesn't work for my bed because of the headboard and footboard, but that said 23 out of 24 practical pieces are good odds. The curtains can easily be used with or without the ties and top. I like it with the ties because it really draws more attention to the room. Now, as far as comfort goes, that's where this gets interesting. They are not awful, but the satin does make it very slippery. I don't like it while my wife does. I find myself putting the sheet back over the edges when I get up. The biggest flaw to me is the pattern of the pillow and comforter. Any time there is a pattern, it's very rough and not super comfortable. It's itchy and rough. You wouldn't want to sleep on the shams that have the pattern on them. The larger shams also are a very large pillow case that is too big for a normal pillow. It's meant for very large square pillows. The decorative pillows are nice looking, but again, just for decoration. Don't plan on sleeping on them. They do really make the room pretty, but at the end of the day it's a name brand product with a big box store quality. It is a really pretty design though. Not super feminine and not super masculine. It has a Renaissance-esque feel to it and really works well with our grey walls. Overall, it's mostly good with some minor issues.

There was a 3 day delay in shipping, but it was coming from a state that had a "Shelter in Place" order, so that is understandable! The product itself is great. I took it out of the vacuum sealed bag and washed it per instructions. The color is not exactly as pictured and I do think the color probably varies depending on the lighting and wall color of your room. I was expecting something a bit more sage colored, but it has a blueish tint to it and the fabric more metallic than the matte look I was expecting. I would return it if I paid $100+ for it, but I liked enough to keep! It is very soft and the king fits my queen pillow top perfectly. It is not very voluminous, but it is also not super thin. For the price I think it is just right. There were a few longer threads, but nothing unraveling. I am very impressed and happy with the quality for the price!

My husband and I love these pillows! Usually when I buy a new pillow, it takes a few nights to get used to and I end up throwing it on the floor halfway through the night. Not THIS pillow! Once I was able to get it all fluffed up, I could move the filling around to provide support wherever I needed it (like my lower jaw, the back of my neck [side sleeper]) and I could clear out a little pocket for my nose and mouth so I wasn't all smooshed up! Don't be alarmed when you open the box, they come vacuumed packed, and you have to break up the filling. It seems like the pillow will never fill out, but it does, you might just have to work at it a bit. Totally worth it!!

Like others have previously stated, this is an extremely thin comforter, more like a "down" blanket. Fortunately, that was exactly what I was looking for. I tend to overheat easily when sleeping, and this comforter kept me at a very neutral, comfortable temperature. If you like to snuggle in warm, fluffy bedding, this would probably not be a good pick, unless you were using it as one of multiple layers. I purchased the king/cal king (purchase option just stated 'king') because I have 2 king duvets that I purchased before I had a king comforter, and twice I've purchased "king-sized" comforters that have been too small to fit in the covers. At 108"×94", this comforter is true to size, and I can finally use my duvet covers! I gave this comforter 4 stars because the material is soft, but a bit thin, and the stitching sems like it might be adequate, but I'm not completely convinced it will hold up over time. Hopefully I will be proven wrong on that score. Still, I would not use this comforter without a cover. The comforter arrived rolled up tightly in a small bag, and I did fluff it up after unpacking, but again, this is not a fluffy comforter. Shipping was a matter of days, which was a very pleasant surprise in my neck of the woods. Overall pleased with the purchase.
