Best Bed Skirts With Reviews

I ordered three of these - two twin xl for out split king and a queen for the guest room. The queen fit pretty well, but the twin xl s are a little bit big. Also. I ordered them all in ivory. The twin xls were what I expected, but the queen was more of a cream - a little darker than ivory - but it works okay with the rest of the bed linens. They are thin microfiber -which is fine for the price - and they pressed out well. Overall they are nice, but not 5 star.

The bed skirt to one of our guest room beds went missing after a two part move and I've gone without for 4 years. The main color of the coverlet and pillows and shams is deep red with a beige accent color. The bed skirt that went missing was a matching red and frankly it's been impossible to even come close to matching the color so I tried beige which is a little more forgiving. I was shocked when it put it up against the beige in my set because it matched perfectly -- literally an exact match! Yes it's wrinkled which is expected and yes the microfiber is a tad thin but that's the nature of microfiber material so again, expected. The skirt is opaque and not see through as some have mentioned. A trip through the dryer with some damp washcloths got the worst of the wrinkles out but I'll still touch it up with an iron -- which I've had to do with every single bed skirt I've purchased in the last 40 years. Frankly I used to have to spray water on the skirt and iron it when it was damp -- old school stiff cotton, and back then the skirts were ruffled, not tailored! I like it and I would order this again if I had a need.

As another reviewer noted, it was perfect for my Sleep Number bed. I have the adjustable bed which doesn't include a box spring, just a platform. The mattresses are not removable, so a traditional bed skirt will not work. This was easy to put on, and it looks great. I have a king sized bed, and the queen/king size bed skirt fits perfectly. I threw it in the dryer out of the package and that took care of the wrinkles. I definitely recommend this product!

I am a retired Interior Designer. It's The Bomb! The permanent micro pinch pleat fabric is soft and has a graceful fall to the foor. A "custom made" king size bed skirt of this quality $800 to $1,000 or more! Ihad to slightly customize by splitting the corners to adjust around the poster bed frame and stitch about 1" down from the box spring. A designer tip: to keep the bedskirt in place, use large safety pins securing the deck fabric to the box springs. It keeps it in place when topping with mattress and changing sheets!

This seemed like a good idea, in theory. An elasticized bedskirt that one can wrap around the bed as opposed to lifting off the heavy king sized top mattress to put a regular bed skirt in place. The problem w it is that inevitably it gets stepped on because when one gets up and throws back the sheet, the skirt is pulled out a little. Got that In an obsessive moment I figured out what to do. Sewing or tacking the skirt to the lower bedspring would cause rips and tears. So—use stick on (or sew on, if you wish) Velcro. I put lengths of around 6” all around the bedspring and attached to the other side to the skirt. Now the skirt stays in place, and I don’t have to shift the mattress if the skirt needs washing. I gave it a “4” because of this problem, but as you now know about how to fix it, it can be a “5”.

This basic bed skirt is a pretty taupe color which blends nicely with my decor and is opaque so the bed frame doesn’t show through it. I wanted something neutral enough so that if I decide to change my other bedding, the bedskirt will work with that as well. As the other reviewers mentioned, the bed skirt was quite wrinkled from the package, but with my steam iron on the cotton setting, the wrinkles came out quite easily. I put the bed skirt on without any help by first placing it at the foot of the bed and gradually pulling up the sides a little at a time while lifting the side of the mattress until the bed skirt was finally in place. Now my bed has a more complete look which doesn’t clash with my decor.

We just got the bedskirt today, and while it did need to be ironed before being put on the bed, the wrinkles came out easily with a minimum of effort. The inverted pleats add a classy touch, and the split corners fit right over the bed frame like this item was custom made for our antique spool bed! (My husband had to help me move the mattress, but that would happen with any bedskirt so it isn't a negative in my book. Maybe if the room were larger, the mattress could have just been slid off the bed) . . . anyway, the fabric's maroon color matched the computer picture to a tee, the drop went to the floor, and the full size fit perfectly over the full size box spring. This bedskirt put the finishing touch on our guest room. We couldn't be any more pleased with the product. Nice going, Wayfair!!!

These are lovely quality - nice sheet weight, sateen weave fabric so it has a good drape. The crocheted laced is nicely done and didn't wrinkle up in the dryer. I washed and ironed mine before putting on the bed. They were a little larger than the box spring but I use upholstery pins to hold them in place so they won't slip and show the base 'fabric'. Highly recommend doing this with any bed skirt. I did have to ask Wayfair to send me another as one was poorly constructed. There are 3 places where the skirt was not gathered at all - up to 25 cm of straight sewing which meant it didn't look like it should. Wayfair's outstanding customer service quickly dispatched another one to me so I expect it will be fine. I am happy with these and they complete my room nicely.

I looked all over town for a bed skirt in a light blue color. None of the major department stores had that color - they were all navy, white or cream. I really didn't know where to go next and then I decided to shop online. Wayfair not only had a large selection of bed skirts, but they also had the exact color I wanted! It looks great with my ice blue duvet cover. Plus the quality is very good and it fit just right on my queen bed.

I was on the fence about this bedskirt. Here’s some positives: It washed and dried great on delicate cycle It fit box spring perfectly It is lightweight The only really con I had was it is not meant for a bed with foot rails or the center bar (if you’re wanting to tuck the skirt behind side rail). I searched for a long time to find a bedskirt that didn’t have the split in the middle but had the splits at the end. The only issue is, they split but they don’t open to go around the foot rails and as you can see in the picture, it gathers up versus laying around it and straight. I like it enough not to return it and plan on cutting the splits on the end two ends and sewing it so it doesn’t fray. Then the skirt will lay straight at the foot rails. Other than that, this is a good, basic bedskirt.

This cute bed skirt is versatile, and that is its greatest strength. As long as you aren't in the market for expert craftsmanship or heavy-weight fabric, this skirt will definitely do the trick. I like that I can position it as high or as low as I need it to be (without knowing bed height off the top of my head) and that it stretches on like an elastic waist band...it took no time at all to put on the bed, and it fit perfectly. That coupled with the affordable price, and I am very satisfied with this skirt.

Love the burlap fabric but the white part that goes under the mattress is too big and so the white shows and the skirt drags the ground. I have an 18” drop to cover I ordered 16” skirt. I sewed a seam in the white part to take off about an inch off the width. It still shows white hanging out under the matress. Reminds me why I hate bedskirts in general. So I will have to take the matress off now and just hand sew the white part to the platform to keep the white part up under the matress.

Sometimes pictures just don’t do a product or item justice. I was surprised when I opened the packaging with this sham inside and rightfully so. It a thin delicate 100 cotton and an actual fine quality cotton at that. I have a few shams in my closet which should be donated simply because they bored me rather fast. I have seen much similar shams at quality stores but their pricing was through the roof, where as my cotton sham is very reasonable in price for what you see here. Best said, I’m tickled pink at what I have here. While I’m at it, let me mention again my cedar post bed, I purchased my bed here over two years ago from Wayfair and it’s still holding strong today. White cedar grown in Northern Canada and completely cut an manufactured right here in America by American workers. Just a note, I purchased two after I had seen the great craftsmanship. Oh but I forgot, also the mattresses and springs are from Wayfair as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by how easy this was to put on my bed and adjust to fit as well as how well it's stayed put. There is a generous amount of fabric not only to fit around the bed but also to accommodate different bed heights as well as giving plenty of fabric to grip between the box spring and mattress. When i first recieved it I tossed it in the washing right away and put it on. It washed up nicely and I think this should hold up for many years. It could probably use a little ironing or steaming if you want a super crisp look but overall there weren't too many wrinkles after a wash and dry. For reference I have a queen size bed. From my floor to the top of my box spring is about 15 inches. I had roughly 11 extra inches height wise of bed skirt that could accommodate a taller bed before it turned into the different fabriric) thats meant to be hidden. The extra fabric at the top thats meant to be tucked in (hidden) to hold the skirt in place is also a generous length (about 5.5 inches) so I feel confident it would still stay put well on a taller bed. There is a good bit of extra fabric at the end (atleast 18-19 inches) to accommodate a larger bed, not sure in the difference between a queen and king so I'm not sure if this would be enough or not. Like any bedskirt you do have to take care not to bunch it up when tucking in your sheets but due to the generous amount of fabric its easy to pull back out without messing up the length if you accidently bunch it while tucking in. Overall I am way happier with this bed skirt then I thought I would be and will definitely be keeping it on my bed for the forseeable future.

So easy to install. Was a little wrinkled out of package, but I can steam those out. Fun that I was able to place it right over the existing dust ruffle without having to lift up a very heavy pillow-top queen mattress. Also happy that it can be positioned to not drag on the floor. I have a half-height box spring so that my bed with the pillow top is not too high off the floor. Very nice light cream color coordinates perfectly with my new taupe and cream duvet that is also from Wayfair. Very satisfied.

Exactly what I was looking for. Nice thick quality cotton/poly blend. However, the fabric that covers the mattress is that cheap paper type fabric. The bedskirt had to be washed, it had a funky smell and I wash EVERYTHING before it goes on my bed. I was afraid the paper type fabric wouldn't make it through the washer but it came out intact. Time will tell. The ruffled part HAD to be ironed. No getting around that. Needless to say I'm not washing this often. I have really searched for a quality bedskirt. I love the style of the bedskirt. It hangs nicely and hides the things under my bed. I have a shabby chic comforter with a ruffle on the bottom and it looks beautiful with this bedskirt. I am happy with my purchase and would buy again.

Very nice quality. Not super cheap, flimsy fabric as I kind of expected for the (sale) price. It's that soft cottony material that feels as nice to the touch, though I don't plan to get down on the floor to feel it! Anyway, it has 3 sides, with a plain white color cloth that goes over the box spring. So you do need to remove the mattress to put the skirt on. But at least it stays in place better than the skirt I had before, which was much more minimal. The sides at the foot of the bed aren't slit, but there is extra room there, so I just placed the bed skirt over the corner part of the bed and that looks OK. The color, light gray, is as described. I'm quite happy with the bed skirt. It was not instant shipping, especially as things are a bit slower than usual during the pandemic, but that was made clear to me before I ordered it, so that's OK. It was worth the wait.

I bought this bed skirt for my guest room. Now that my son has moved into an apartment I am working on making my guest room beautiful and calming. My color scheme is light turquoise. My bedspread is a lovely light turquoise and I wanted a bed skirt to complement it. I bought the “spa” option and it matches PERFECTLY with the bedspread. There are 2 parallel embroidered light turquoise lines all around the bottom. I could not be happier!!

I love this bedskirt! I have adjustable mattresses and the elasticized band goes right over the bar at the end of the mattress. I did have to iron it as the wrinkles did not come out in the dryer with a damp towel and I had to hem it because it was too long, but it was still much better than having to alter the skirt to allow for the bar. It appears to be staying in place even when the mattress is raised and lowered. I have to say that Wayfair was very good with this shipment - when I opened the original package, it contained a packing sheet and shipment for someone else. But one call to Wayfair had them re-shipping my order to me on an expedited basis. I was very happy with both the product and the customer service.
