Best All Bedding With Reviews

After reading many reviews I have to say that people really need to wash this first before judging. It softens up beautifully after washing, but it does fade. Still beautiful (I bought gray/orange) will see how it holds up in time. Here's my beef...it shrinks...a lot. I have it on a full sized mattress and the entire box spring is exposed. This just covers the 7 inch deep mattress. There is no way if two adults will be covered all the way under this once it has shrunk. And that's just with the first wash. If it shrinks more, which I suspect will happen, it will no longer fit and will look really stupid with so much mattress and box spring exposed. As for weight...I'm in Western NY and this is perfect for winter if you add a warm blanket under this quilt. I use a 100% cotton waffle blanket and top sheet under and it's warm and cozy. Not too heavy, not too light. If you prefer a weighted feel, this might be too light alone. The pillow cases also shrank but I was able to squeeze the pillows in there without worry of ripping the pocket flap. To summarize, If this was about 4 inches wider and two inches longer, this would be a FIVE STAR quilt. Other than the shrinkage, this is great for a full size mattress. I would never try to put this on a queen. You would not have enough width to cover the bed and hang down the sides very far after or even Before washing. Right now I'm on the list for a king sized quilt to rightly cover my full sized bed.

Another SHOW STOPPER! Beautiful beautiful! Exactly as shown. Rich beautiful colors!Lightweight, soft, flexible. Fits nicely across a queen bed. Enough over lap to cover mattress and allow enough fabric to tuck into bed frame or leave out to allow wooden frame to be visible. Note in my opinion if you have a mattress and box spring, it most likely will NOT be long enough to cover that too with a deep mattress like I have. It is at top edge ( head of bed ) and enough drape at foot of bed to tuck into a footboard, but not enough length to tuck under mattress. I’d call this a coverlet. It’s perfect for us, my husband does not like blankets tucked. I did both ways for demonstration purpose only. I included a close up of fabric with lights on and in natural light as well as low light. The sale price of 88 is a perfect price point for fabric quality, weight stitching. I would have been a bit disappointed if I had paid the list price of 200. It’s going to be easy to wash in my home washer. I purchased the Queen or fullQueen whichever way it is listed.

I previously had a duvet cover and comforter, and was tired of it constantly moving around inside the cover. My boyfriend and I are moving in together soon so I wanted bedding that was a comforter, but also had a feel we would both enjoy with different design interests. I got this comforter set in indigo and it's wonderful! He likes the color and simplicity of it (doesn't feel too girly to him) and I love the cozy look and detailing of it. I paired it with some white sheets, and used white pillowcases instead and it looks great. The comforter felt light when I pulled it out of the bag, but after sleeping with it for a couple days in the summer, it actually does keep me warm. I thought I'd miss having a big, fluffy, heavy comforter, but I'm starting to love the lighter cover that still keeps me warm! I ran it through the machine washer and dryer (took a couple rounds to dry every part of it), and it came out lovely. I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in this one.

I really like this comforter! I ordered the king size to put in a Queen duvet for extra fluff. The stitching is nice and sturdy. I really like the gold piping along the edge as well. It comes compressed in the packaging. I laid it across my bed and hand fluffed it everyday before work and after waking the the morning. I do believe it “puffed” fairly well. I have since placed it into the duvet but I will say that while sleeping with it prior to, sans the cover, the material is very soft and comfortable. It did have a “down smell” that was fairly noticeable for the first few weeks as well, also why I’d recommend waiting a bit before utilizing a duvet cover if you so choose. I think it’s subsided quite a bit since airing out. It’s does make the “crinkly” hotel comforter sound, but honestly… I like that. Now, the ONLY reason I’m giving this item 4 stars is because although this comforter is listed as all season… It is HOT. I don’t sleep with the heat on at night and live in the Midwest. It’s spring here and we are still teetering between 30-50 degrees on the regular. I wake up fairly toasty with this cover. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I do think that you should be prepared to utilize something much lighter during the warmer months. Still, very satisfied with my purchase.

Very good price, so you should expect a lighter weight material ... durable so far (two nights), but thin. Since I’m using it to cover a staunch down-comforter, I’m predicting the duvet and the comforter will get along well through the years. I like the flecks in the sage green vertical stripes — subtle, pleasing, and a nice complement to the stronger green details of my drapes and valances. The fit is good, the little tie-strings seem to work to secure the two components. That said, a big boooooo for the zipper. It’s a great idea, but with its flimsy nylon guides with their accompanying minuscule baby teeth, the poor little zip only made it about halfway through its very first closing before the two tracks fell apart. I’ve seen some moms and dads just re-track these things like they do for a kid’s snow pants. If I can’t locate a remarkable person like that I’ll bring it to my local tailor for buttons and buttonholes. Even with that addition, it seems a good deal at 35 dollars or whatever the Mayfair sale price was. All in all, I’m happy and I‘ll confidently throw away my old duvet.

Update: I've now purchased four of these! Love them! Perfect weight and easy to clean and love all of the colors! I added more pictures...I've now bought Taupe (darkest tan), Bone (middle color...almost looks pinkish in pictures but not so much in person) and Off White (lightest color...not yellow at all!). Nice. Thinner side/not fluffy at all. Easy to wash. Yes...it will eventually lose some stitches if it's washed a lot, but it's held up very well so far for me...and our 50 pound bulldog sleeps on it, walks on it and it's held up well. I thought we would only use it in summer, but we've been using it for all seasons. Our old comforter was large and fluffy...the clean look of this is nice! You can leave it loose or tuck it in under the mattress. We have a king sized bed and it actually reaches past/covers the mattress and box spring on the sides!!! UPDATE: I have a total of four of these quilts! Gray/King, Bone/Queen, Taupe/Twin & King. They are great! They wash easily. They hold up well. The color shown is true to what arrives. I like the weight for year round...they don't let "breeze" through so they keep you cozy, but are not too heavy or hot. I think they look great on a bed as well. Very simple yet classy/clean. Apparently I didn't put a picture of the first order (gray) and I now use it for our trundle/guest bed so it's not made for me to take a picture. Pictures shown are of the taupe (close up and twin) and bone (queen bed that is made). Both are great neutrals. Bone is obviously lighter. The bone has "ivory" colored curtains behind the bed for reference. It almost seems a bit "pink" but it doesn't come off that way in person to me at all.

I will be using the shams and setting them up so I can cover these gaps. I have a queen size bed in my other bedroom and it will be a perfect size for it, too bad the designs won't match the theme in there. So as of now, I am deciding to either turn it over, using the other side in the other bedroom or I can always have our camper use it. Either way, this is alright, plus the price is good. I have been wanting to have an "all-season" lightweight quilt that can be doubled as a blanket and as a bedspread too. And this did the job! I am just so delighted with this purchase and I find it so supple and very soft. I got a full size or a queen size in blue wide stripes. This looks more turquoise in the actual as the picture shows it. I got a pretty excellent result after washing it in cold and medium drying it. I know that this review may sound too good to be true but believe me when I say that I am loving it so much! This comes in four color variations so I'd be careful when clicking before you order. EDIT: It has been several days now that I have been using this quilt and I am just as happy as before. This is still very cozy and washes so well. Even my dog and kitten love it too. Surprisingly my kitten has not damaged it. Really a great purchase!

I read lots of reviews before buying this blanket. I had bought so many and returned them because I wanted something very specific. I wanted high end quality, soft and warm and don't overheat at night. I love the warmth and softness of the blanket. I get cold and my husband's get hot at night so we needed to find something in between. After a long search I'm glad I made the decision to buy this comforter. Didn't disappoint and exactly what I needed. It's perfect weight. Very soft. Feels and looks luxurious. Now I can't get the kids or my cats off the bed. What I learned about blankets of you want something light but fluffy for aesthetics then pick lower price point and material with cotton or synthetic. You want something "puffy and very warm" you going to want a duck down duvet, you want something less heavy then goose down alternative is best, it will be warmer then this blanket but less warm then the duck down. But if you want the feel of a heavy duck duvet that is soft but yet not overly warm then this is the blanket for you. I was chasing after duvets but ended up liking the comforter better. (Difference is: duvet is an insert but comforted can be used as a blanket or insert). Over all this is a great blanket. Material is soft and very pretty. I can't finally stop looking at blankets. Five starts from me!

I found the perfect blush set at TJ maxx and someone stole it off my clothesline. They must have needed it badly to do that. They no longer carry it so I searched online. This is my first purchase with Wayfair. I was leary ordering a set online because I like to touch and see the fabric so I took a chance and trusted the reviews. I got 2 twin sets in Blush. Blush is a very difficult color to find the perfect shade. Trust me when I say this is the perfect shade. The photos do not do it justice. The color is a true blush pink color in a lighter hue. This could pass for a ballerina pink and the perfect shabby chic style pink for a little girl if thats the look you want. My daughter is a teen. It goes so beautiful with her medium gray walls. Absolutely gorgeous! On fleek as my kid would say..lol... This is extremely soft to the touch it feels like 1500 count (not exaggerating). However, a high thread count tears easy and this seems like it can tear so I would treat this with care. Thickness is on the thinner side but not cheapy thin at all if you know what I mean. This would be a perfect summer comforter. I put solid quilts under my comforters anyway, so that, or an extra blanket underneath would offer more warmth in colder months. It is very billowy for a thinner side comforter to give that luxurious look. I noted other reviewers saying there is no box stitching. No there is not but the gathered details are stitched through to the other side so I think it will wash well with care. I personally would do a gentle cycle, hang dry and fluff in dryer. I will update review after washing and upload photos after I assemble the bunk bed I also ordered from Wayfair. My 15 year old absolutely loves it and cant wait for her trundle bunk bed to be assembled which is perfect for sleepovers while offering space in her small room. I think I am going to order a queen size in white for myself!!! Great price for this set. FYI, this does not come with the throw pillows in the photo.

I ordered the fullqueen in light pink for my mother’s queen size adjustable bed to go over Wayfair’s queen size down alternative medium weight comforter. Both items arrived promptly. Initially I was disappointed in the lightweight fabric but soon realized that the duvet cover really couldn’t be any thicker or it would’ve added too much weight to the comforter that was already heavy and difficult for either of us to manipulate. After a few weeks I learned a few tricks and bed-making became a breeze. The duvet cover is pure cotton and therefore has a crinkly, wrinkled, shabby chic appearance. I suppose ironing would take away the wrinkles, but there’s not a snowball’s chance in Hades that I was going to iron that much material! I really grew to like the natural appearance of the duvet cover and Mom loved it instantly. The two shams completed not only the look of the bed, but the whole master bedroom. I didn’t iron the shams either. The reason I ordered a comforter and duvet cover in the first place was because of the adjustable bed. The winter bedspread ran the risk of being caught in the moving parts of the adjustable bed frame so a comforter was in order. The duvet was the icing on the cake! I like that the duvet had lots of ties to secure it to the comforter. Otherwise, straightening out the two components every morning would have been too much of a chore. This duvet has been worth every penny.

Velvety on the front, soft Sherpa (not wool, I hate how scratchy wool is!) on the back, and a clearance price. All good. It’s not so much like a comforter as it is like a two layer quilt, and I’m guessing there is some batting in between but I’m not sure. It’s like a light weight soft blanket sewn on to a very soft medium weight blanket. It is sewn all the way through, which was a concern after experiencing a similar product a long time ago that was only sewn together on the ends; the peripheral and not in the middle at all. It’s May 1 here in the North, and still running daytime temps in the 50’s, so this will be nice. Anything above 60’s at night, probably not so nice. I expect it’ll be all I need come winter as well. Had I seen this at a local store and at this price, I would have snapped it right up. Oh, and so glad I purchased the correct size for my bed. Folks were saying get a size larger. But I have a bed in a box mattress (love!) that is 10” tall along with a 2” latex foam topper, and with the bed against the wall on one side. I would have had a constant struggle keeping this on the bed if it were any larger! I dislike blankets that hang down and even touch the floor at times while sleeping. I have vinyl plank flooring and dogs, so you never know where that floor has been (I like my blankets especially clean). So, just something else to consider…whether you want the floor to be stealing your blanket at night!

There was a 3 day delay in shipping, but it was coming from a state that had a "Shelter in Place" order, so that is understandable! The product itself is great. I took it out of the vacuum sealed bag and washed it per instructions. The color is not exactly as pictured and I do think the color probably varies depending on the lighting and wall color of your room. I was expecting something a bit more sage colored, but it has a blueish tint to it and the fabric more metallic than the matte look I was expecting. I would return it if I paid $100+ for it, but I liked enough to keep! It is very soft and the king fits my queen pillow top perfectly. It is not very voluminous, but it is also not super thin. For the price I think it is just right. There were a few longer threads, but nothing unraveling. I am very impressed and happy with the quality for the price!
