This is one of those items that "you get what you pay for." Having said that, it works for my purpose. The pattern is on both sides - a plus. It's cheaply made, not good quality. I bought the Queen size - for a full size bed with a taller memory foam mattress. It is a bit short in length, doesn't cover the end of the mattress, but plenty long on the sides. The pillow shams are thin and don't hold their shape well, but again, you get what you pay for.
