Galante is an exceptional design. One that while originating in France 244 years ago, looks modern, sophisticated, and fresh today. Discovered as a printed canvas in the textile archives of the Toile de Jouy Museum in France, reinterpreted by Anne de Solène and coordinated with a striking 3-lined stripe print. Founded in 1760 by Christophe-Philippe Oberkampf, the Oberkampf Manufactory, based in Jouy-en-Josas, then a village just outside of Paris, created textile designs inspired by the discoveries of ancient lands. The Galante duvet covers are reversible. One side has the toile de jouy print, the other side has the 3-lined stripes print. Galante printed coverlets offer chic style, with the Toile de Jouy print on one side, framed with the stripes print. The other side has a striped print. Lightly matelassé quilted. Percale construction. Made of organic 100% long-staple cotton. Made in France.

This quilt pays tribute to the once-thriving symbol of the American West: the majestic buffalo. Using colors borrowed from the earth and sky, we painted a buffalo herd roaming freely across a field of Aztec patterns. This quilt reverses to a geometric ombre design, interspersed with bold alternating stripes and flowing tribal motifs. Finish the look with other accessories from our range of Western and Southwestern collections. Note: Due to the oversized scale of our pattern and the natural variations in the fabric cutting process, each pillow sham included in our quilt sets is uniquely distinctive, showcasing a slightly different part of the design.

Loved this and had waited a few months to make sure it was exactly what I wanted for our room. When I got it today it was exactly what I was hoping! Loved the colors and the material! Can’t wait to get our room completed so that we can put it on our bed!!. Anonymous. Fri Mar 13 2026
