The blue is the perfect shade! It comes vacuum sealed. Mine had been unopend and in storage for a long period of time. Just throw it into the dryer for the time suggested and it fluffs up nicely. This set came in a cute little box all in one package. Soooo, I LOVE the purpose of these, COOLING. It does what is says and keeps you cool at night which I absolutely love for these hot summers. There are two sides, one is more cooling than the other. It is the softest slipperiest material. So the only con I’d say is that my pillows slide off of the bed and the blanket also slides off because of whatever the cooling material is. I have an older set of bedroom furniture that is finished with that red oak stain that I do not really like.
