The blue is the perfect shade! It comes vacuum sealed. Mine had been unopend and in storage for a long period of time. Just throw it into the dryer for the time suggested and it fluffs up nicely. So the only con I’d say is that my pillows slide off of the bed and the blanket also slides off because of whatever the cooling material is.
