I ordered the slate gray and they are definitely not gray if you're really looking for that color. They are a nice color of pale blue (see photos) and the sheets are soft and appear to be good quality. They had a strong odor upon opening the box but once washed they are fine. I do not like all these pleats close to where I snuggle. I make the bed with the pleats on the bottom! It is not genuine Egyptian cotton, which has a label with a cotton plant inside a triangle.
