This is a beautiful comforter set. The comforter seems well made and it's a perfect medium weight. I got the blue/gray combo and the blue is a beautiful aqua color - just like it's shown in the picture (and just what I was hoping for). The seams on the shams are not very sturdy and I ripped one while inserting a standard size pillow. I also wish the shams were a mirror image, so each of openings faced the outside of the bed. I used the included pillow cases to make pillow covers for 18x18 inserts. The color of the round pillow and the text on the lumbar pillow are more of a powder blue, so they don't really match. It's I'd give this comforter 4.5 out of 5 stars. The only reason it doesn't get a full five is that it's a bit stiffer than I anticipated, but that's to be expected with a tightly woven allergen-barrier fabric. Since I use a duvet cover anyway, it isn't a dealbreaker. It also feels a little warmer than I expected, so if you're a very hot sleeper, you may want to keep that in mind. That said, I specifically wanted an all-season comforter, and it strikes a good balance between warmth and comfort. The biggest surprise was the value. I love the versatility of this comforter. Maybe I’m easily intrigued lol but I’ve never had a reversible comforter before. Especially not one made with bamboo. It’ll be hard to choose which side to use. I may end up switching them weekly. The taupe color is exactly how it looks in the photos. The chocolate color is so chic.
