I dont think the size of the comforter is accurate. But other than that... it's not bad. I do get hot but I am also hot natured so I just remove the cover off, or stick a leg out. The shell is soft 300 thread count cotton.Microfiber doesn't have the same insulating properties as down, so microfiber duvets are heavier weight. A fair bit of fill is required to achieve the desired warmth. One benefit of a synthetic duvet is that it can be machine washed at home, given your machine is quite large and you wash/dry on a low heat setting. Natural down and feather are sensitive to moisture, but polyester is not!

This is a great comforter. It’s plush and super soft to the touch. It retains a lot of warmth at night without being heavy. Sometimes down filled products can have a weird smell but this doesn’t. The only thing I will say is it’s not bright white, it’s more of an off-white. I would have preferred bright white so it looks cleaner. I got this to insert into a duvet cover. It fits well and I really love the tabs on every corner (not just the bottom two) that help to secure it into the duvet cover. The weight is perfect. Ordered on a Wednesday received on a Saturday definitely a bonus. Opened package and it was vacuumed sealed directions were straightforward. Put in dryer. No heat for five minutes. Holy sweet jebus Batman that down comforter just expanded more than I thought it could, literally 3 times the thickness of my current one which is down as well.
