Bunkie Board Split Box Springs & Foundations

Upgrade your mattress support with this 0.3" Split Folding Bunkie Board, designed to create a stable foundation for platform beds, slatted bed frames, box springs, and upholstered beds with spaced slats. (Not recommended for open metal frames without slats.) Made with durable polypropylene (PP) panels wrapped in stitch-bonded gray nonwoven fabric, it delivers firm support to help reduce mattress sagging and maintain a more even sleeping surface. The slim 0.3" profile adds support without increasing bed height, offering a convenient alternative to traditional box springs. The foldable two-piece design with hook-and-loop fasteners allows for quick setup, easy storage, and effortless portability, making it a practical solution for everyday mattress support needs.

I am very happy with this Bunkie board. It was easy to set up, feels sturdy, and provided excellent support for my mattress right away. My bed feels much more stable, and I no longer notice any sagging or movement. It has made sleeping more comfortable, and I appreciate that it has a low-profile design without adding unnecessary height. The quality is better than I expected, especially for the price. I would definitely recommend this Bunkie board to anyone looking for extra mattress support.. Kelly Watt. Tue Jul 21 2026

This product is designed to provide excellent support under any mattress. It ships in a compact box and can be easily assembled in minutes — without any tools! Unlike traditional box springs, our foundation can be broken down quickly if you’re moving or need to maneuver around tight corners. A Casper Foundation ensures that mattresses, sleep as they should. Some older box springs or foundations don’t provide a solid surface, causing mattresses to sag from the support breaks. Our Casper Foundations slats are positioned a perfect four inches apart for optimal support. A strong and level foundation helps mattresses perform at their peak for a decade or more, no matter what kind of bed frame they sit on. Casper Foundations and mattresses are the perfect pair. We spent over a year developing the Casper Foundations, so its design has the same considerations as our mattresses.

Easy to put together. Very sturdy. There are screws heads in the bed frame in 3 places down the middle of the frame and the center piece of the foundation sits on the screw heads. So it doesn’t fit flat on the frame. Either the makers of the bed or the foundation need to accommodate this space for the screw heads. I coved the foundation with a fitted sheet since it only comes in one dark color.. Doug. Erie, MI. Wed Jun 24 2026
