Really love this quilt. The colors were a bit darker than I expected with a lot of red but very pretty and great for the price. It is very lightweight which I like but if you are expecting a heavy quilt you may be disappointed. The batting is very thin. I have not washed it but the stitching is very close together which should keep the batting from shifting. This old fashioned coal engine train quilt, bellowing out the smoke as it travels over the bridges and the 329th tunnel of a mountain, brings in the nostalgia to the senior citizens, while the younger generation looks at it in wonder at the unmanned railway level crossing which bears that sign board. A timeless collectible for vintage train collectors.
