Finally, a mattress I actually look forward to laying on!!! I have always had hybrid mattresses, but I started to notice I could feel the coils after awhile, and I cannot stand that feeling. When I saw this mattress, I decided to try it because it was all memory foam- plus it had a cooling element… I sleep hot, so to me this was worth trying. First of all, it comes in a box, all vacuum sealed. Once I opened it, the mattress immediately came to life! Although it takes time to reach its full size, even as soon as it opens- it’s mostly at capacity. The mattress has somewhat of a jersey knit top layer, very smooth. It’s a true 12 inches when completely aired out. See my picture with my hand as a reference to thickness! Laying on it is a dream. You sink into it a bit, but you are fully supported. My old mattress was too firm- this is a perfect balance between plush and supportive. I would say it leans more toward firm than plush- which is good for the spine in my case. I can’t tell much yet about the cooling feature since it’s summer and I sleep with the AC on, but I’m definitely not sweating under the blanket. I have a unique setup where I have 2 queen beds together because I sleep with my 2 great danes and 1 great pyrenees. I needed to be sure this bed was supportive, with some bounce , because straight memory foam doens't hold up to the amount of weight that could be on the bed. THIS IS AMAZING. First the coils are stiff with tons of support. Exactly what I need! It's an honest 12" high which is important since I have a 12" mattress next to it and it was off in measurements, it would be uncomfortable. But most importantly its extremely comfortable. The mattress is still fluffing up but so far it seems very nice. It was pretty heavy in the box so definitely needs at least two people to carry it.
