This fits well from side to side and does not drag on the carpet! I love the white - it provides a clean and crisp feel for my room. The quilted material is very soft and well sewn. Love the quilt the look and the weight. Just what I needed to make my guest room not feminine for when my son is here. What I don’t like is, as other reviews stated after just one wash it pilled up on the decorated side. Wouldn’t be so bad if it was the other side. I’m hoping it will go away or I’ll have to get one of those fabric shavers. I did wash it by itself in cold and let it hang dry over my couch. It was finally time to switch out my heavy quilt for my new lighter bedspread. I searched high and low for a split corner bedspread with longer sides and came across this one. It needed to be open to allow for the posters and legs an I wasn’t certain if the corners unbuttoned but, fortunately, they did. It’s perfect and a nice weight with a matching pillow and shams with buttons. I bought two cream throw pillows on this site and matching buttoned linen euro shams elsewhere and I think it looks great. I did wash everything before using and it all washed up great.
