Nice crisp cotton sheets that hold up well in the washer and dryer. Haven't had any issues with them shrinking either. The sizing is generous and I've had no problems fitting these onto my mattress. Yes, they are expensive and worth every penny! I'm not sure WHY the title has the word "Sateen" in the description. These are the same SUPERIOR brand sheets I have purchased for 12-15 years and they are 100% Egyptian Cotton and sturdy not thin like many of sateen sheets are. Very happy with these sheets, so far. They fit our King Mattress well and have a nice feel. They seem well made. I have only washed them once and they are fairly soft. I think they will soften more after a few washes. I like the stripe pattern, which makes it easy to figure out which direction they go, and the white/khaki is a nice look.. Charles. US.
