Bought one and it worked so well I had to get another. They are small and kind of skinny, so it prohibits what you can actually fit into the shelf, but it was just what I needed for a skinny ledge in my shower where stuff keeps falling off. I use glass bottles and such for oils, and was worried about them falling off. I gave these a quick coat of sealer to help protect against moisture, and used small suction cups in the screw holes to keep them stuck to the glass of the shower. I love this shower niche! We are building an apartment above our garage and I'm trying to match the style of our house. Our bathrooms have black and white subway tile with mosaic floors. We did niches in the showers using tile and they look good, but it was difficult and I notice the imperfections all the time. This seems like the solution to all my shower niche problems! I love that the shelves are tall enough to accommodate my giant shampoo bottles. The great thing about this niche is you could use it horizontally or vertically. I'm thinking of getting a second one to place horizontally above my sink/vanity for skincare items, etc. I think this is going to look fabulous when installed. It's a very solid, sleek piece and I LOVE that the shelves are angled just the slightest bit to allow water to run off rather than accumulate. I hope to update this review after it is installed, but for now I'm including some photos of the item itself, next to the tile floor and a "mock-up" of the the bathroom that our guy did just to show placement, etc. You have to use your imagination a bit to get the full effect, but if you're looking for a shower niche with plenty of room and a great design, this is a really solid choice.. An old addition to the house presented restrictions while renovating the bathroom. This vertical triple-shelf shower niche was the perfect solution! While the width was able to fit between the 12” between the studs, the shelves are still large enough to fit economy-size bottles. We purchased 2 to install side-by-side. With the cut-out measurements available on Wayfair, our contractor was able to rough out the walls before the niches arrived, and they arrived quickly! It’s been hanging up for around 3 weeks now and still holding on well! I would recommend putting something on the wall behind it to counterbalance it and prevent it from tilting forward if that’s something that matters to you.
