I would recommend putting something on the wall behind it to counterbalance it and prevent it from tilting forward if that’s something that matters to you. An old addition to the house presented restrictions while renovating the bathroom. This vertical triple-shelf shower niche was the perfect solution! While the width was able to fit between the 12” between the studs, the shelves are still large enough to fit economy-size bottles. We purchased 2 to install side-by-side. With the cut-out measurements available on Wayfair, our contractor was able to rough out the walls before the niches arrived, and they arrived quickly!
