The mattress immediately expanded to almost 11 inches and as stated in Sealy direction, it says allow up to 48 hours for complete expansion.. so far all is good. Feels medium to soft but solid.. Oh I am in love with my new mattress. I haven’t wanted to get out of bed. This is truly a memory foam bed, like seriously when you lay on it, it really forms to your body. It feels like you’re sleeping on a large foam pillow. Shipping was fast. I loved that I received the item within 24 hours. Unfortunately, upon receipt of the item, the bottom of the box was opened. Also the mattress is not cut true to size.
