[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These sheets are really nice, super soft, and they just look like a fancy set of sheets. They have weight to them — they’re only a tiny bit see through when you hold them up to the light, vs the last set of white sheets I had that were basically transparent — but they don’t trap heat in the summer like some sheets do. The fitted sheet was deep enough and they held up without pilling in the wash, at least so far. I think they feel like they’re durable enough to last a long time. As you can see from my picture, they do wrinkle up pretty easily but I always have a comforter over my sheets, so it doesn’t really matter to me. It gets one star knocked off because when I first opened these up, they stunk horribly; it was weird vinegary like smell, but thankfully one wash got rid of it. Martha Stewart did not disappoint with these sheets. Although these sheets are not described as “percale”, they are 100% organic cotton. Of course I washed them before I put them on my bed and they are so nice and crisp (I guess they still use that word to describe cotton). The periwinkle flowers on the sheets are very pretty. My bed is an old iron bed which they used to call a 3/4 bed and I have pretty much a standard mattress and box spring, so the pockets on these sheets are pretty deep, so I don’t have the snuggest fit, but they are such a nice and pretty sheet, I am overlooking it..
