This bed is extremely comfortable for if you sleep on your side or back. When you do get close to the edges you almost bounce off of the bed from the springs. If you sit on the edge of the bed you also can feel the springs. I haven’t added a mattress topper to see if that would help. The bed offers lots of support and I am very pleased with the mattress.. Caught this on sale. To set the stage, I’m a tall 300 lb male side sleeper who found this on sale and wasn’t sure it would work. They hybrid build was a key feature for me (tallbigger guy needs more than just foam support) so I ordered this. It arrived before anything else in my order, like within 48 hours fast! It arrives rolled in an airtight plastic wrap, so I opened it up and let it expand for 72 hours before use. So far I love it. The first two nights I slept on it, it felt firm but this was on the floor because my bed frame hadn’t arrived yet. Once I installed on the platform bed, I noticed it was a bit more forgiving and true medium firmness. I love it and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced mattress for free shipping.. Chad. Titusville, NJ. Fri Aug 05 2022

OUR FIRMEST MATTRESS FOR MAXIMUM SUPPORT: This is the firmest mattress we’ve ever made. Two layers of 14-gauge coils—far stronger and more durable than those of other brands—combined with high-density natural materials, provide a solid, stable sleep surface that resists sagging and delivers ergonomic alignment, even under heavier weights. Because more coils mean more support, it proudly features up to 2,112 individually wrapped coils, which also improves responsiveness and pressure distribution. While the feel softens slightly for the heaviest sleepers, it remains definitively firm (10 out of 10) for lasting support for back and stomach sleepers. Side sleepers can add an Organic Mattress Topper for added contouring and cushioning.

I've had this mattress for almost a year now and I have to say I absolutely love it. It is so comfy and conducive to good sleep (which I struggle with) and the price point is fab.
