This is not your ordinary laundry hamper. It is made from real bamboo and is such a rich brown color. My husband just loves it. It is very well made, the inner cloth liner fits snugly over thr edge and the band of bamboo holds it on so nicely. You dont even see the cloth liner when the lid is closed. I really like the lid lifting up and it stays up. It is not flimsy at all. It was very easy to put together. I would say 5 minutes is all it took. Instructions not particularly good. Blurry black and white and inconsistent use of terms between the legend and actual instructions sheet. The picture on the product page shows the hamper compartment that leans out as flush, but following the instructions, as best as I could interpret them, just left the compartment laying on bottom of the frame. I think that maybe there were two holes missing on that hamper compartment piece where the holder pins are supposed to be pressed into to line up with the counterpart holes on the frame. At least it seemed to be that's how this would need to be designed in order to match the photos from the product page. I did end up drilling those two holes to achieve the functionality depicted. I just LOVE these hampers. My only wish is that they came in more colors! They fit perfectly on our shelf in out laundry room and can be tilted out to drop laundry pieces in each one.
