So I have been on the hunt for a brass shower curtain rod for a year now! They dont exist and if the do they are poorly made or insanely expensive! This one is GORGEOUS! Wow It was slightly too long but for the price I bought it anyway...I cut about an inch off before installing it then drilled the hardware into the tile...it was first time drilling into tile and I was a little nervous but it was just as easy as drilling holes in a wall! The 48” was exactly the right size for my bathroom area. I rotated the support poles so they were both coming from the ceiling. It is sturdy just not indestructible obviously. Every shower needs a curtain and every curtain needs a rod. The Marina 6' Shower Rod in Chrome is a sturdy rod that will mix perfectly with bathrooms using chrome fixtures and accessories, especially those from Gatco's Marina Collection. The wall flanges that will attach this rod to the shower walls are not included but are available from Gatco.
