This duvet is made with soft, plush microfiber fill, a high quality polyester that's meant to mimic the softness of down. The shell is soft 300 thread count cotton.Microfiber doesn't have the same insulating properties as down, so microfiber duvets are heavier weight. A fair bit of fill is required to achieve the desired warmth. One benefit of a synthetic duvet is that it can be machine washed at home, given your machine is quite large and you wash/dry on a low heat setting. Natural down and feather are sensitive to moisture, but polyester is not!

I was looking for a light weight down and this fit the bill. It was for a guest bedroom. Everyone sleep’s different, some cold and some hot. Now that it is summer I’ve folded and placed at the base of the bed to be pulled up if the air conditioning gets too cold. I dont think the size of the comforter is accurate. But other than that... it's not bad. I do get hot but I am also hot natured so I just remove the cover off, or stick a leg out. I’d love to give this comforter 5 stars because it’s very comfy and feels almost like hotel quality. However after a month of use I started to feel some itchiness and realized that it was because feathers were coming out of the fabric. The solution is to use a duvet cover which is a little disappointing for me as I feel they just make the comforter hotter, and I’m already a hot sleeper. This is a great comforter. It’s plush and super soft to the touch. It retains a lot of warmth at night without being heavy. Sometimes down filled products can have a weird smell but this doesn’t. The only thing I will say is it’s not bright white, it’s more of an off-white. I would have preferred bright white so it looks cleaner. I received my order in perfect condition no packaging problems whatsoever. The pictures are right out of the box needs to inflate. So I will take more later, it says you can fluff it in your dryer.
