I was looking for a light weight down and this fit the bill. It was for a guest bedroom. Everyone sleep’s different, some cold and some hot. Now that it is summer I’ve folded and placed at the base of the bed to be pulled up if the air conditioning gets too cold. I really like this duvet insert. I don't think you would want to use it as a comforter by itself, although you could. It feels plush and luxurious, and the weight is just right - nice and cozy. It has a little strap across each corner to facilitate tying a duvet cover on. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is the "crinkling" noise you hear when you are moving it. Well it’s huge and I love it I got this down comforter in cali -king and it did not disappoint it’s soft and the quality is great.it arrived quickly and the packaging was very impressive I have no cons about this comforter but one I did not realize it came with no shams or pillows cases what a bummer I think it’s a miss opportunity to extend the appeal of this so fluffy and incredibly soft and comfortable good material well made comforter it needs the cases with that said I still recommend this comforter it’s well worth it buy it you won’t regret it.
