After sleeping on this for at least week I can say I really love this mattress. Its very firm and doesnt move when anyone gets in or out of bed. Even though its firm and doesnt transfer movement it has a soft cushioning that molds to your body after you rest for bit. But for a foam top layer the best part is that it doesnt hold heat and become hot to sleep on! The shipping box was easy to maneuver and opening was straightforward. This is a great mattress for the price! It arrived wrapped really tightly and unfurled quite quickly. So I suggest placing it on the bed framebox spring before unwrapping. The package came with a tool for cutting the plastic safely so opening it was easy. We gave it the full 72 hours before using it and as you can see by the pictures, it came out great. Soft and firm at the same time. I got this for my daughter to go with her new twin canopy bed (still being assembled). Maybe this is a me problem since I didn’t think about it in advance but this mattress is extremely thick, which means standard sheets will not be able to reach over the top of tuck underneath it. The mattress is perfectly comfortable (I bought a twin size for my sons bed) but I’m now annoyed that I will have to buy all new sheets with deep pockets if I want to be able to tuck them in, which I like to do to have a clean look..
