It’s softer than I thought it’d be! I prefer an extremely soft mattress but I needed a shorter (10”) mattress for the bed frame I wanted and ultra plush is harder to find so I settled on this one and I’m quite pleased. The bed feels SO good. Very plush and expanded within the 24 hours noted. I would venture to say more like 18 hours. I got the 12 inch and its the perfect size for the low profile bed I paired it with. The bed is also hydraulic, and my teen and I are able to easily lift it with the mattress to access storage. Our old guest room mattress had started sinking in the middle, so we finally replaced it before family came to stay for a few days. My husband moves around a lot while sleeping, and I could still feel less movement transfer than expected. The edges also feel more stable when sitting down to put on shoes or fold laundry.
