In my photo you can see the 4 inch box spring that I chose for my queen bed. I'm so glad I didn't go with the 2-in nor the 6-in, this one falls right in the middle and is just right for me. I wanted something that I did not have to assemble, this is perfect comes pre-assembled, hooray! I also didn't want a metal box spring because metal attracts EMFs, and although at an extremely low amount I still am not a comfortable with metal box springs. This wooden box spring is truly pre-assembled and comes in two sections so it's easier to move into the room of choice. And that's it just lay it on your foundation and you're ready to go!. I’m very disappointed with this purchase. The box looks like it should be good quality, but unfortunately it arrived in poor condition. I contacted customer service to report the issue, and while they offered a 20 discount, I asked for a bit more since I really don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it, buying another one, and waiting again for shipping. They asked me to wait 24 hours for a response, so I’m still hoping for a better resolution. This is actually my third recent order with problems, which is very frustrating. I’ve been a Wayfair customer for years and never had this many issues before. Really disappointed with this experience. I received an email from Wayfair saying they are going to credit back to my original payment method, which I appreciate. I already finished building the box spring and, as I mentioned before, it does look like good quality overall. I really hope I won’t have any problems with it later on. My partner and I have been using this split frame for a few months now and we love it. This is our first hollow box spring after living with an old coil box spring for so long. Though there are definitely differences, we sleep just as well on it. For reference, the two of us on our queen double pillow top mattress with four additional mattress tops are roughly 650lbs all together. This split frame easily holds all of the combined weight. These work just as good as our box frame that was 6” thick! (We got a new bed frame that would’ve raised the mattress up too high). Just what I needed. I found it hard to find boxsprings that you don't have to assemble! I did NOT want to have to assemble them. These are good because they ship in two not-too-large boxes. I was able to handle them myself without help. You simply unpack, unfold it, and put it on the bed. No assembly required. Taking off one star because there were a couple staples poking out of one of them, but once I laid it flat, that was the part that went together so they are not exposed in any way.. Kg.
