This is a very nice, well-crafted lamp that works well in my living room. The shade doesn't look cheap, and it diffuses the light source in a pleasant way. Used next to my sofa, it is bright enough for reading without looking overpowering, and it also provides good overall illumination to that corner of the room. It arrived very well packed.
