Good quality for the price. Very light weight and easy to install. Stain color was spot on. Be aware ends are not mitered, which I knew when ordering am fine with. Some more expensive mantels have miters.

Beautiful! I purchased the naturalunstained mantel option and stained in myself (combo of weathered oak, early American and habitat) after having poor luck finding a color to match kt floors. DEFINITELY use a prestain conditioner prior to adding your own stain. The company says you don’t have to, but I tried a small piece on the inside as a test without pre-conditioning and it looked awful. The end result (with the prestain) is gorgeous! The actual wood mantle itself is made with aspen wood btw, in case you didn’t know.

Great addition to my fire place

Liked the size and color however, there was long scratch on the front of the mantel. It took a lot of wood filler and staining to hide the crack. You can still see it slightly but we added different stain colors to try and give it some character. We still would have l preferred to have all done properly. Disappointing.

Absolutely love this mantle! It was delivered quickly, it’s not too heavy but looks great under our 75inch TV. We wanted to give our newly finished basement a bit of a pop and I think this mantle definitely gave it that finishing touch!

Bought this mantel for our fireplace in the sunroom. It looks great and makes the shiplap wall stand out. I would purchase again. This mantel came well packed and easy instructions.
