I wouldn’t call this heavy duty- but it is much nice than the ladder that came with our pool. I am happy with my purchase. Also- you will need some sand if you want to weigh down the side pieces, which I recommend. I have two tips for installation first one- to make sure you put the white stair face on before you lock the blue step into place. Otherwise you have to pry the step off with a screwdriver and put it on. Ask me how I know. Second- make sure the brace piece on the back (piece “G”) is in the best position for your pool. I had to move mine to the middle slot which resulted in a very awkward and dramatic fight to remove the piece without taking the whole stair apart, and also trying to push the sides apart at the back to wedge piece G back in. Quite pleased with these steps. They aren't the most fashionable, but the size is great and the storage within is ample and secure, provided you close the lids tightly. We've had multiple days of intense rain; the chemicals inside have stayed dry and happy! Assembly was easy enough, just follow the directions and don't make the mistake I did, which was neglecting to slide 2 of the end pieces to the back before attaching it all (got distracted, it's an important step). Steps are ok for many uses. Putting them together was a bit tricky. The worst part was the tallest step to put together. Had to use a small flat screwdriver to pry open the metal to allow the step to go in place. Overall, it was not too bad to finish. Now the Part for me that is "Deceiving" is the description. To me "ROLLING" means they have castors/wheels. Nope none to be found. I had initially got these with the intent of rolling it around to paint & do other household chores. So for now dragging it on a moving blanket is my only answer, unless my husband is willing to drill holes in the legs somehow & put on wheels. Wish they had used a different description.. Cheryl. What can you say about water test strips. They are easy to use and easy to read the high/low test each strip gives based on the readings that are right on the bottle. We have a hot tub that we like to monitor once a week and with the number of test strips provided, this container will last a good long while.
