Travie Solid Wood Slat Bed

Easy to construct! I am 66 years old and have muscle issues. It took me 1 12 hours to put this together, but I’m glad I did. There are numbers and letters to help you line up the pre-drilled hardware holes. It even comes with a small ratchet tool! The small pegs help you line up the sides and headboard, so one person could put it together. It is sturdy, lightweight, and beautiful. Awaiting a mattress delivery and it will be complete. I am very happy with my purchase.

Wayfair is a class operation. Customer service is great. Installer was great. Again, I would recommend the company to anybody. The reason I am giving it a low rating is such. The slats are very cheap. There is no other way to say or describe. They are at best flimsy and do not even screw in. They actually attach with velcro. I shopped very carefully and did not want any composite wood or anything like that. And I am willing to pay the freight so to speak. I did not even keep the bed after it was installed and called Wayfair and they are refunding me everything. The installer stayed and disassembled and repacked the item. Yes I tipped her heavily and that was great and she helped me call the company etc. I did not want to keep the bed and see if it performed OK. And I bought the protection so I was still protected for breakage. I am going actually now to shop. I do not know if the bed would hold up successfully and it may do so. I can just say that I want much heavier crossbeams. My purchasing philosophy is a product one will keep a long time is one I am willing to pay more for the security I want. Again, Wayfair is great and I will purchase another one just more expensive

I’ve had this bed for two years now. It’s solid, was easy to put together, is relatively comfortable, and has held up pretty well. The wood can be a little rough feeling and my cat was able to bite through bits of the headboard.

Easy to set up and has great support for mattress.

This was a nice upgrade for us over our barebones metal frame. Looks good without dominating our room. Assembly was easy, and it seems like it will last a long time.
