Cropsey Fireplace Surround

This piece of furniture is beautiful, but it has some design flaws that make it challenging to use. The top part requires additional work to be securely attached, and the open legs create a 6.5-inch gap in the back, which is visually unappealing. Additionally, there is a noticeable gap on the backside of the legs that detracts from the overall look. Given these issues, we realized that reworking the mantel to accommodate this piece would be too much hassle for us

Not happy with my purchase or the return process. The quality was not what I expected. Yellow discoloration, chips in the wood, and wobbly. Overall, just not worth the money I spent on it. Had to pay 170 to ship it back, which was a complete waste of money, but the only way to get any kind of refund for a product that I could not use. Do not recommend purchasing at all.

Absolutely beautiful Mantel! Really easy to put together in less than 10 mins, however I am knocking off a star because the amount of boxes and packaging it all came in. It took over two hours to break down all of the boxes and clean up the mess from all the packaging… feel like there are other options to protecting the mantle without being so wasteful.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. ours came infested with termites which Wayfair is refusing to pay for or help with after 5 different interactions. Truly the worst customer experience I have ever had at a company.

Absolutely gorgeous! It arrived in perfect condition and was easy to assemble.

I am so thrilled with this mantel. We haven't been able to install it yet because we are doing some remodeling first. But I can already see how perfect it will be as the final touch to my French Country living room. I had trouble finding a mantel small enough to fit around my gas fireplace, because so many of them are just too massive. This one is just right. Beautiful craftsmanship and style. It's French, but not too fussy or ornate. I will post photos here when it is installed. Can't wait to decorate it!

I would have given this item a higher rating if it didn't arrive cracked. After I put the item together, the legs felt super wobbly even though the screws were tight. Also, I really wanted this item in white, but they were out at the time, so I purchased in cream. I ended up painting it white anyway.
