Purchased this chair in July 2024 for my father who has limited mobility. He loved it minus the horrible noise the motor started making about 6 months in. But, this morning June 2025, it stopped working completely. My father was stuck in a reclined position, unable to get up, until my brother arrived - a 45 minute drive from his house - to help. I double checked all the connections when I arrived and the chair is getting power but theres not even a little noise as if the motor were trying to work. I came on here to double check the warranty information thinking it must be at least a 1 year warranty - nope, just 60 days. So, $500 for a chair that worked for 11 months - not money well spent as far as I'm concerned.

We bought the dark brown recliner for my father's 80th birthday. It shipped quickly, and it was easy for him to put together. He loves everything about it. He says it is very comfortable, it looks nice, and he loves the massage, heat, and power lift features. It is now 3.5 years later and this is what my father says: THIS CHAIR IS GETTING WORSE ALL THE TIME. IN SPITE OF THE COVER I HAVE ON THE CHAIR AND A TWO INCH CUSHION ON SEAT, THERE IS A ROD IN MIDDLE OF SEAT, COMING OUT OF THE SEAT AND THE GEARS MAKE A LOT OF NOISE, THE CHAIR IS PEALING ALL OVER, THE WARENTY CO. TOLD US THEY CAN’T DO ANYTHING, WHEN YOU CALL WAYFAIR THEY PUT YOU ON HOLD, AND DON’T PICKUP. THE PROTECTION PLAN IS FOR 5 YRS. 7/25/27

Great for our family member who is disabled! Just as advertised and great quality. So much easier for him to get out of chair, heated seat and massage great as well!

We really like the chair. It does make a noise, like a soft motor running, when you put it up and down. Not quite ready for a lift chair but have it when needed.

Easy to assemble. Very comfortable.

We had a guest stay with us at our home who was scheduled for back surgery. I purchase this for her recovery. It was perfect for what we needed. Not too big, easy to assemble and felt substantial and heavy. The message function isn't like a commercial massager ... more like a little buzzing and vibration, and the heat function come to just about a warm, so we didn't need a blanket to avoid sitting on a cold seat... but we didn't buy it for those functions. We bought it for the lift function which worked perfectly as needed. For the price we paid, we were pleased with our purchase.

It’s ok at first glance it’s a nice looking chair however the quality of material is cheap and it probably won’t last long. I’m returning it for something that will last longer.

This is a really nice chair for the price. I bought this for my mom with mobility issues. It was easy to put together, for the most part. It does work well. The only issue is if you need to slide it to move it. That’s a bit tricky and may come apart. If you don’t need to move it, it’s a great recliner. Of note, the reclining and lifting button is on the right side where the USB round plug is.
