I'm not yet sure how well my new grow lights are going to help my plants and I wasn't at all happy to learn that they have to be plugged in to work since nothing in the description or photos shows a cord, but they are easy to use and very convenient in less-than-convenient locations. There is also a timer, tho the control is so tiny that it is difficult to read. After using it just one day, I noticed my succulent reaching upward, toward the light, which generally means that it is not enough light, but I moved the light closer to the plant and that seems to have helped. My husband says this battery operated mini saw is fantastic. Easy to assemble, manual had limited information, but comparable product operating manuals can be found online.
