Looks as described, lots of parts but doable to put together. I am not sure what will happen, but the drawers are currently very noisy from the locking mechanism. I have the other version of this dresser that I bought for my son a while back that has the same locking mechanism, but does not make nearly the same amount of noise. Possibly will get better when there are clothes inside, but currently feels very noisy. Might need to return. Ashley. Dallas, TX. Mon Sep 28 2026

Its sleek look ensures it blends seamlessly with a variety of décor styles, adding both charm and functionality. The California Chest features three roomy drawers for organizing essentials and comes with a removable changing topper that fits any standard-size baby changing pad (not included). Once your child outgrows the nursery stage, simply remove the topper, and it transitions into a modern 3-drawer chest that suits any room in your home, offering longevity and versatility far beyond the early years. For easy assembly, we’ve pre-installed the drawer tracks, ensuring a smooth, hassle-free, easy assembly experience. The innovative interlocking drawer system adds extra safety by allowing only one drawer to open at a time, minimizing the risk of tip-over when paired with the included furniture restraint kit. Safety is our top priority. The Storkcraft California Chest meets or exceeds ASTM and CPSIA safety standards, including the ASTM F2057 safety specification for clothing storage units. It is also GREENGUARD Gold Certified, ensuring it’s screened for over 15,000 chemicals and VOCs that can pollute indoor air. Storkcraft is a proud recipient of the Parent Tested Parent Approved (PTPA) Seal of Approval. Backed by a 1-year limited manufacturer’s warranty. Assembly required.
