The Cardinal Gates Duragate Safety Gate (Model MG25) is a hardware-mounted gate great for any use and made for both babies and pets. The Surrogate is a workhorse of safety gates. This gate has the ability to be installed at any angle necessary, so it can truly be installed in any opening. Featuring a unique, yet secure latch system, allowing one-handed operation for adults. The Cardinal Gates Duragate installs in a matter of minutes, using only two screws at each mounting point. At 29.5" tall, this gate is adjustable and able to close off openings from 26.5" to 41.5" out of the box, with an optional 12.5” extension (Model BX-12, sold separately) to increase the span up to a maximum of 54". This gate offers a unique top extension (Model TPX, sold separately) to increase height for use with pets. Featuring an all-steel construction, the powder-coated finish is available in black, taupe, or white.
