I've been using this as a back up burner but been using as much as I intended to. It's very portable, easy to clean, and does what it's suppose to do. I use it for hotpot, frying, and when we want to do shabu-shabu in our backyard. Exceeds my expectation. Highly recommended.. Anonymous. Mon Nov 04 2024

The True Induction TI-2B double burner induction cooktop is specifically designed for inset installation into your countertop, but can also be used as a portable unit. The cooktop features patented power-sharing technology that enhances its energy efficiency. With 1750 watts of power-sharing capabilities, it divides power between the two burners in configurations such as 100/0, 50/50, 80/20, and 70/30. All induction cooktops require induction-compatible cookware to operate; if a magnet sticks to the cookware, it is compatible with induction cooking. This unit has no flame, no fumes, built-in safety components, and official certifications like UL858, ensuring your safety and compliance with official inspections.

Perfect stovetop for a small living space.. Lisa. Holderness, NH. Tue Oct 15 2024

The True Induction TI-4B four-burner electric induction cooktop is an energy-efficient option that combines sleek design with advanced technology. With quick response times, even heating, and instant adjustments, this state-of-the-art cooktop offers better value than the competition. Its high quality and affordable pricing have made True Induction the preferred brand for Winnebago RVs and other manufacturers. Induction cooking utilizes magnetic-based technology that generates heat through a magnetic circuit, connecting with ferrous metal (steel or cast iron) cookware. This method is highly energy efficient, as the cooktop itself does not produce heat—a process that can be energy-intensive. It also allows for rapid heating times, with cookware heating evenly in 45 seconds and water boiling in just 90 seconds. Optimal cookware should have a flat bottom and a diameter of 4.5 to 12 inches. To test for induction compatibility, simply check if a magnet sticks to the bottom of the pan; if it does, the pan will work. Key features that set the True Induction TI-4B 30-inch cooktop apart from competitors include True Induction's EZ Touch controls, a user-friendly interface, and a durable Japanese NEG beveled ceramic glass surface, along with numerous safety features. The EZ Touch controls are particularly notable, as they allow intuitive operation—each set of controls corresponds to a specific burner, unlike most cooktops that require users to learn a complex control scheme. This cooktop is also backed by strong safety credentials: it is UL858 listed, ETL, and FCC certified, ensuring it will pass any official inspection.

Just what we were looking for and it works well.. Anonymous. Belleair, FL. Sat Apr 10 2021

Enjoy the ease, speed, and safety of induction cooking with a selection of energy-efficient induction cooktops. It comes in a popular size ideal for smaller kitchen spaces, including hotel suites and studio apartments. This unit requires professional installation (cord not included). Ideal for boiling large pots of water or cooking with woks and other large cookware. Centered upfront for convenient use, the touch controls allow intuitive operation, with a slider control panel that makes it easy to adjust your heat. The digital display shows which elements are in use and their power setting. Audible beeps sound when the touch controls are activated. This cooktop is equipped with a child lock that allows you to disable the controls to prevent unintended heating. A "stop & go" function allows you to immediately turn both zones off if needed, with the last settings resuming when reactivated. This unit also includes a timer function that lets you program a power level and cook time (up to 99 minutes) that can either turn the unit off when complete or serve as a visual countdown with an audible alert when the set time has been reached. Safety features include automatic shutdown, overheat protection, and overflow protection, which will temporarily disable the power if boiling liquid touches the control panel. With its ideal size and advanced safety features, this is the perfect cooktop to ensure intuitive, safe cooking in a variety of small kitchen settings. Additional choices are available in smaller and larger sizes, as well as radiant and coil styles. Note: Induction cooling utilizes magnetized energy that starts inside the cookware, meaning the temperature of the actual cooktop surface does not get nearly as hot as traditional gas or electric elements. Most of the heat is retained inside your cookware, making induction technology the most efficient heating method for your kitchen. Because induction cooking requires magnetic energy, your cookware must be made of cast iron, steel, or magnetic stainless steel. Materials that will not work include aluminum, copper, and non-magnetic stainless steel. Many of your current pots and pans may already be induction-friendly. In order to determine if your cookware will work on an induction surface, simply place a magnet (such as one hanging on your refrigerator) on the bottom of the pan. If the magnet sticks, the pan will cook. Summit also offers induction cookware sets for purchase.

The 800 series 30-inch cooktop is designed to help you cook with ease and power. Cook with confidence in 4 precision induction zones that let you simmer to sear with ease. 17 heat settings offer precision heat and consistent results every time. And with SpeedBoost, the frustration of waiting for a pot of water to boil quickly is something of the past.

Simply check if a magnet sticks to the bottom of your pot or pan, and you're good to go! Let the Trifecte Induction Hob bring more fun, efficiency, and convenience to your cooking experience.

The Induction Cooktop combines the power of gas with the easy clean-up of electricity to give you the utmost cooking flexibility. Induction cooking is 70% more efficient than gas and 20% more efficient than electricity and offers more responsive, exceptional temperature control at low and high heat, so it is gentle enough to melt chocolate and powerful enough to boil water. And because heat is generated directly in the cookware, the cooktop stays cooler to the touch, making it safer and easier to clean. Induction elements are compatible with most stainless steel and cast-iron cookware. If a magnet sticks to the bottom of a pot or pan, it is induction friendly. It offers the best in contemporary design matched with the latest in appliance technologies to transform the way you live.

Awesome. We love it. Keith. Sun Nov 02 2025

We love this cooktop, easy to clean, heats quickly and better safety with young kids in the house. We love the large element which easily fits out large Dutch ovens. Never had an issue with our pans not getting recognized and the wifi and Chef Connect feature syncs flawlessly with our GE OTR lights and fan. This is a nice feature you normally only find in higher end brands. Overall love the performance! The only negative: The "Precission Cooking" is pretty useless, unless you have a bluetooth probe or niche smart pans which no longer support an app, this feature is useless so don't buy this cooktop if this is something you really want. For standalone temperature control, get a Bosch. Marioochi. NJ. Thu Aug 20 2026
