Summit's selection of Safety First electric cooktops includes thoughtfully designed choices ideal for trusted user safety in hotel rooms, extended stay suites, independent living facilities, and other kitchen settings that require an added level of peace of mind. All Safety First cooktops have an extended 3-year limited warranty for parts and labor. The SINCH115V2B is a 2-zone induction cooktop with 110-120V power sources. The pre-installed cord includes a 3-prong NEMA 5-15P plug for fast setup. Smooth black glass made by EuroKera creates an attractive, easy-to-clean surface. This cooktop features two 1200W standard 6" elements to accommodate most general cooking needs. NOTE: Due to the 115V operation, a power management function limits the overall output to 1800W. If both elements are in use and the power exceeds 1800W, the cooktop will automatically reduce the power level of the element that is not being adjusted. For maximum user safety, this cooktop is designed with a 30-minute automatic shutoff mechanism. This mechanism disables each burner after half an hour of no user activity to prevent unsupervised cooking. It also shuts down if the power is activated, but there's no activity after one minute, ensuring the elements won't heat if a guest accidentally touches the wrong button. Users can also activate the child lock to prevent unintended changes. The SINCH115V2B is equipped with easy-to-use digital controls that are located up front to comply with ADA guidelines for user accessibility, ensuring users don't have to reach over a hot burner to make adjustments. Once your cooking is finished, a residual heat indicator stays illuminated until the surface has cooled down. This cooktop comes in a popular size ideal for smaller kitchen spaces, including hotel suites and studio apartments. It is designed for installation in common cutouts sized at 10 5/8" W x 19 5/8" D. With its ideal size and advanced safety features, the SINC2B115V is the perfect cooktop to ensure intuitive, safe cooking in a variety of small kitchen settings. For this model with a 220V connection, see unit SINCH230V2B. Additional choices are available, including induction and radiant cooktops in white glass. Browse the full Summit line for more options. NOTE: Induction cooling utilizes magnetized energy that starts inside the cookware, meaning the temperature of the actual cooktop surface does not get nearly as hot as traditional gas or electric elements. Most of the heat is retained inside your cookware, making induction technology the most efficient heating method for your kitchen.

This induction cooking method is highly energy efficient, capable of boiling water in just 90 seconds. Compatible cookware includes stainless steel, cast iron, and enamel-coated steel. If a magnet adheres to the cookware, it will work with a True Induction Cooktop.

I've been using this as a back up burner but been using as much as I intended to. It's very portable, easy to clean, and does what it's suppose to do. I use it for hotpot, frying, and when we want to do shabu-shabu in our backyard. Exceeds my expectation. Highly recommended.. Anonymous. Sun Nov 03 2024

perfect for our ADU. though I never have any plans to cook more than hot water. part of my picking it was the low price, the fact it was small and still up-to-code, and the fact that it's induction and will not get hot without a pot or pan on it--it's just like part of the counter top!.
