Well this definitely is light weight. You can see the first time usage and I have alot of dirt already in the canister so it sucking power is very good. I gave it a four because it is not a quiet vacuum nor can it clean carpets as well like I was told from the customer service. Representative. Do not get this vacuum if you have high carpet or shag. Vacuum cleaners!! We can’t seem to find what works best for us. But after much frustration and research we decided on this one. So far, so good. We’ve only used it a couple of times so far so I cannot speak to longevity or reliability, but it works well. It was easy to put together. The removable parts are easy to take off and put back on. We love the 30 foot cord. On our first use, it was unbelievable how much dirt and hair it picked up. It was kind of disgusting to think our floor was that bad. Also, the two things this model has that the other models of the same series doesn’t have is the LED lights, which really seems to help and also a handheld attachment which has a rotating brush. I don’t even remember seeing that in the write up but it will be perfect for upholstery and curtains. We’re happy that we gave this brand a try. Hopefully it will prove to be dependable. I love this vacuum. It works great. The only thing is the cord will get stuck in the bottom of the vacuum if you’re not careful while using. Other than that, I love it and it works so well especially cleaning up after 2 large dogs who shed a lot. (A Red Golden Retriever and a Bernese Mountain dog). The light on the vacuum is such a lifesaver.. you can see everything in your floor and while it’s horrifying seeing before vacuuming it’s also so so satisfying to see how great your floors look post vaccuming. My wife enjoyed using this machine. My observations of machine made me believe that it could use more suction and brush power. I saw that on our large tiled this vacuum blew dog hair outward from the brush area. On the carpet this machine did much better. Great little, inexpensive vacuum! But ours has recently stopped spinning the brush roller whenever it hits a snag (sucks in a rug) and must be taken apart, cleaned, and put back together in order for it to spin again. Help!
