Well this definitely is light weight. You can see the first time usage and I have alot of dirt already in the canister so it sucking power is very good. I gave it a four because it is not a quiet vacuum nor can it clean carpets as well like I was told from the customer service. Representative. Do not get this vacuum if you have high carpet or shag. I love this vacuum. It works great. The only thing is the cord will get stuck in the bottom of the vacuum if you’re not careful while using. Other than that, I love it and it works so well especially cleaning up after 2 large dogs who shed a lot. (A Red Golden Retriever and a Bernese Mountain dog). I rarely write reviews, but after using the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Turbo Rewind Vacuum (model 27909), I felt compelled to sing its praises. If you live with pets and are constantly battling fur tumbleweeds and dander like I am, this vacuum is a total game changer. Let’s start with the setup—straight out of the box, assembly was super intuitive. Within minutes, I had it up and running without needing to glance at the instructions more than once. It’s lightweight but still feels sturdy, and the design is sleek and modern. It doesn’t scream “pet vacuum,” which I appreciate. Performance-wise, this thing is an absolute beast. I have two cats, and their fur gets everywhere—furniture, rugs, corners, hardwood floors, you name it. This vacuum doesn’t flinch. The suction is powerful, and the tangle-free brush roll is no joke. I’ve had vacuums in the past where pet hair would wrap around the brush and kill the motor or need constant cleaning. Not here. After several uses, there was zero tangling and barely any maintenance required. That alone deserves applause. One of my favorite features is the automatic cord rewind. It sounds minor, but it’s the kind of small convenience that makes cleaning feel less like a chore. Just push a button, and the cord zips away neatly—no more winding or wrangling cords. The swivel steering makes it super agile, even around table legs and tight spaces. Plus, the edge-to-edge cleaning is legit—it picks up debris right up to the wall, so you’re not left having to go back in with a handheld. The dust cup is easy to empty, and it doesn’t make a mess. I can vacuum my whole space in one go without having to stop and empty it multiple times. If I had to nitpick, I wish the vacuum were just a touch quieter—but honestly, with everything else it does right, that’s not a dealbreaker at all. My wife enjoyed using this machine. My observations of machine made me believe that it could use more suction and brush power. I saw that on our large tiled this vacuum blew dog hair outward from the brush area. On the carpet this machine did much better. Suction on this vacuum is awesome but it is so strong that it sucks up our thinner carpets. We have a large oriental rug and this vacuum works well on it. Our problem is that we have several thinner runners and the vacuum sucks them into the mechanism, clogging the brush. Our runners are in the process of being destroyed by this vacuum. I called customer service about the problem but they had no workarounds. We will now have to buy another, smaller vacuum to clean our runners.. Ron. Chicago, IL. Sun Sep 24 2023
