It takes time to get used to it. Because is ventless it will heat up the room or space where the dryer is located. I found myself emptying the water tank twice after 5 loads. It does leave the clothes damp but you will just have to figure out the settings that works best for your clothes. Noise is minimal and the door is adjustable. Love my new dryer. My old LG was slowly dying and taking forever to dry. This new one is quick and efficient. I like the fact that I do not have to fill a container anymore with water for the steam feature, which I use a lot. Having it able to connect to the LG App is really convenient. I orderd my dryer from the LG web site. I was anxious because I wasnt sure how smooth it would go. As it turned out- evrything went well, even when I needed to change the delivery and installation date. Also, I researched and learned that I got a better price ordering directly from LG. I had a complicated install with it being a stacked unit and installed in a smaller, yet adaquate laundry closet. The installers were excellent and gained my full confidence. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product arrived a month later than expected. However, the focus will be on the functionality of the dryer itself. We absolutely enjoy the dryer. Makes minimum noise and hardly vibrates. The location of the lint trap is thoughtfully placed. The screen is easy to use and we enjoy the notification chime. Only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars us because of the various settings. I've experimented with a few and the dry time is less than what the machine advertises at times. Capacity is great but the drying time is based on load size and what temperature is set. For example, I have to dry my towels twice despite using the towel setting. Additional built-in programs such as sensor dry, 3 heat levels, and 4 dry levels make drying more precise. There are additional features such as delay start, a diagnostic menu, an on/off chime, a secure child lock, a reversible door, an interior light, a clean lint filter reminder, a remaining time display, and automatic temperature control. Included with the ED 880 is an exhaust elbow and exhaust hose to connect to the wall. A 220V (3 or 4 Pin) Power cord is necessary to be installed to operate the machine. Additional accessories sold separately are the stacking kit to stack it with the equator washer, and the pedestal to raise the height by 11".
