After I plugged it in, it did not take long to cool It down to temp I selected. I am extremely happy with this product. It will easily fit underneath the countertop. This wine fridge works great! I like that there are the light color choices. The wood shelves are nice. I prefer them over wire or metal racks. My one issue that I knew before I ordered is that it doesnt have full extension shelves. That makes it hard to see the bottles on the back half of the shelf.
