The water and ice in our previous model always had an odd flavor and aroma. The Frigidaire has had no flavor issues. Only issue is that the middle drawer and freezer drawer fell a little wonky when closing. The fridge does have soft close which is amazing and feels very sturdy. Overall very happy at this time.. I like the drawer in the fridge that can be very cold or normal cold. The ice maker in the freezer is really nice but makes ice slowly, also there isn’t really a good place for frozen pizza boxes.
