I vented the unit because several previously had stated venting helped dry faster. After speaking with manufacturer support I was able to have a better experience with this unit. After using the new LG SIGNATURE Washer-Dryer Combo for about 2 weeks, I've been very impressed with the overall experience. The first thing I noticed was the sleek, premium design. It looks modern and high-end, and the interface is intuitive and easy to use, making it simple to select and customize cycles. Another feature I've really enjoyed is the integration with the LG ThinQ app. It allows me to easily monitor cycle progress, receive notifications when laundry is finished, and stay on top of maintenance reminders. It also provides useful information if any issues arise. The complete wash and dry process on the normal cycle takes about 2 hours, which is a little longer than using separate machines in some situations. However, the biggest advantage is that I can load my clothes once and walk away without having to remember to transfer them from the washer to the dryer. For my lifestyle, that convenience makes up for the longer cycle time. Overall, I would highly recommend the LG SIGNATURE Washer-Dryer Combo. So far, so good. I have the Wash Tower 2.4 with heatpump. Its quiet, clothes come out dry and time is good. I dont watch the clock but it doesnt seem longer than my full size LG washer downstairs.
