This is a nice ice maker. I love cocktails and I have a ton of different ice makers, but none that make clear ice. I've made ice three times now and I still can't get the ice to come out perfectly square and clear -- an edge is always a little fuzzy or cracked, or there are some streaks running through. But overall I would say the ice is 90% clear and it looks even better when it's in the glass. The maker itself is fairly large, but I think it has to be to make the clear ice, and it's a little tricky to get the ice part out.
