Well this definitely is light weight. You can see the first time usage and I have alot of dirt already in the canister so it sucking power is very good. I gave it a four because it is not a quiet vacuum nor can it clean carpets as well like I was told from the customer service. Representative. Do not get this vacuum if you have high carpet or shag. This vacuum is perfect for my little place. It’s just a smaller version than the larger one that my daughter has. But the suction on this vacuum is outstanding! I read some of the other reviews who said it didn’t have much suction power but this one sucked up a lot of dog hair. I haven’t had a vacuum in a week and I have a golden retriever. You can see in the photo how much hair it sucked off my rug on the the floor and from the couch! I love this little vacuum!! it also has a really long cord, which is great. I don’t have to keep unplugging and plugging in somewhere else. It has several attachments that are helpful too. I also read where someone said when they vacuumed dust came out from the back. I didn’t have that problem at all and I’ve only got the one rug in my living room, which is a small space rug and then I have the hardwood floors, there was no dust coming out of this vacuum cleaner. Very happy with this purchase. I am a gardener and do a lot of home canning. This results in a mixed mess of dirt and vegetable peels and skins and berries. I LOVE the part where only clean water is being used on the floor. I actually end up with CLEAN floors rather than just mostly clean because the water is getting dirty as it's being used. I also have two dogs and a cat and they are all heavy shedders. This handles their fur without issues. I also love the self clean of the brush and clean up is quick and easy. Just dump and rinse and let dry. I would love the option of a larger capacity water tank for larger cleaning tasks so only the dirty fill tank would have to be dumped mid job vs having to also refill the cleaning tank every time too.. Between my dog that sheds and tracks dirt in and toddler on the move, I reach for this tool constantly. What I love most is how it vacuums and mops at the same time. Between dog hair, spilled snacks, and random sticky spots (thanks, toddler), I used to have to vacuum and then go back with a mop. Now it’s one pass and done, which saves a ton of time and energy. I find I am also less annoyed at cleaning messes now because I no longer have to take out an army of cleaning supplies, just the Bissel Crosswave Edge and the job is done in a few quick seconds. It handles pet hair really well on hard floors, and the mopping function actually scrubs up dried-on messes instead of just pushing them around. That’s been huge for things like juice, yogurt, or muddy paw prints. The cordless design is another big win. I can quickly grab it for a 5-minute cleanup after meals or let the toddler run around without dragging a cord everywhere. It’s easy enough that I actually clean more often instead of letting messes pile up. A couple things to keep in mind: It’s best on hard floors—it’ll do area rugs, but it’s not a deep carpet cleaner The battery lasts around 30 to 40 minutes, which I found gave me adequate time to clean all the spaces I need while not lose cleaning power. You do have to clean out the dirty water tank after each use or the black water will smell horrid if you let it sit. For a busy home with pets and kids, it’s truly the biggest game-changer. Vacuum cleaners!! We can’t seem to find what works best for us. But after much frustration and research we decided on this one. So far, so good. We’ve only used it a couple of times so far so I cannot speak to longevity or reliability, but it works well. It was easy to put together. The removable parts are easy to take off and put back on. We love the 30 foot cord. On our first use, it was unbelievable how much dirt and hair it picked up. It was kind of disgusting to think our floor was that bad. Also, the two things this model has that the other models of the same series doesn’t have is the LED lights, which really seems to help and also a handheld attachment which has a rotating brush. I don’t even remember seeing that in the write up but it will be perfect for upholstery and curtains. We’re happy that we gave this brand a try. Hopefully it will prove to be dependable. It's my new best frienemy. It works great, BUT it randomly leaks?! Our dog has started having accidents in his old age so we needed something compact to clean up after him. Slow and steady passes is the key. The suction is great and most surfaces are dry within 10-30 minutes. I've used it on our carpeted stairs, microfiber couch, and LVP flooring. Thick carpet needs a few passes for set in stains and to make sure you've got all the liquid out. For the microfiber, it worked wonders and dried faster than the carpet. Using it to clean up accidents on the vinyl flooring was really helpful, the suction came in clutch, I didn't have to worry about any liquids soaking through to the sub flooring, it dried almost instantly. The auto clean just cleans the clear head piece, so I took the advice of another reviewer. If you want to clean the hose then once you've emptied the dirty tank, put it back together and fill a container with hot water, suck that up, and repeat til your dirty tank water looks clear. So far, I haven't noticed any funky smells from it. When switching the head from spray to auto clean and back, it'll leak a bit of cleaner, no big deal. Unfortunately, I've noticed after some cleans that there'll be a pool of dirty water underneath the machine, not exactly sure where it's coming from or how to fix this problem. It could just be user error. Current solution is keeping a rag underneath during storage and when I'm moving it around for cleaning. I wanted to give 3 stars for all my complaints, but my only comparison would be a full sized carpet cleaner that I'd rented from a store, which only faded set in stains and took all day to dry. Compared to that, it's leagues better, light weight, somewhat easy to clean since most parts come off and apart except the hose itself, and it takes up very little room for storage.
