Washer was purchased in summer 2021. The drum bearings have failed. Lasted 3.5 years. Dryer is still going strong. Washer sucks, should have gotten at least 5 years if not closer to 10!

Absolute piece of garbage. The door lock mechanism broke after two uses and the machine is now not useable. It’s not worth the cost to replace the broken part because it’ll just break again after a few uses. And of course there is no warranty for parts like that. Save yourself the trouble and get anything but an LG product.

Too many presets - it's almost impossible to pick your own temperature, speed, etc.. It overcomplicates something that should be simple. I've had the washer dryer set for about a year, and still get frustrated every time. I wish there was a way to bypass the gimmicks.

Great machine. Just purchased. Has all the bells and whistles i wanted. Superb quality

Great washing machine. I like the notifications, gizmos, etc. I wish I had a bit more control (for example, I set it on pause do to something else and, when I came back 10 min later, it forgot what it was doing. I then took the bag I was washing out but couldn't get rid of the water. It would have been nice if it remembered what it was doing and/or if I could have cancelled the cycle.

It is pretty good but it is too long cycle compare

I just replaced my 11yr old Whirlpool Top Loader with a failed Transmission with this LG, and I am very happy with its performance so far. What impress me the most are the solid built quality, Direct Drive simplicity, and the intelligent Cycle Control. It also uses much less water than my old washer, yet gets our clothes cleaned just as well or better and with less wear & tear. My purchase was based on an abundance of positive reviews on LG Washers, and so far it is performing beyond my expectations.

So far no issues but i have not had the washer for very long.
