This quilt is quite lightweight. I would not recommend it to keep you warm in the winter but it is a perfect weight for Spring and Summer. I am using it in a small guest room. I can make it simple or elegant by changing pillow shams, adding couple of toss pillows, or changing the color of the candles in the room. The quilt is neutral in color and style so the possibilities are endless. I was concerned about how sturdy the georgette would be so I waited until after a couple of washings before submitting a review. My washer is small but the quilt fit in easily. I am very pleased with how well it does in the washer. The georgette comes out just fine.
