This bookshelf unit is very solid. With a 22- pound clock on the top shelf, this bookcase has withstood two 6.0 earthquakes and one 7.0 quake (even though I didn’t secure it to the wall). It also looks lovely.

Very nice-solid wood shelves, and they look dark grey. Blue is evident close up, but not from a distance. They’re very industrial- you either like it or you don’t.

Good quality product, size and length/width of the shelves were key and exactly what I needed.

Great bookshelf, well made and a great deal on sale, but, a bit unstable and shaky.. you might want to use the straps to fasten it to the wall.

Updating review - has held up very sturdy over the years... Hello! I tried the ‘replace item’ feature but phone function not working - Item arrived in damaged box. And metal rods were bent, making it hard to put together shelves. Husband was able to fix and put together so not interested in return. But would like a partial refund. Otherwise love the bookshelves seem solid, real wood shelves. Bought 2 for pairing near a desk. Shelves are deep too. could stack lots of books in. About to open second unit. Hope that’s not damaged. But overall sturdy real wood shelves.

Absolutely love this unit. Better than I even thought it would be. Perfect size and so easy to assemble. Highly recommend this unit.
